Anyone watch this show on Comedy Central? Weird timeslot (midnight Sunday), but it's a pretty fascinating little show. I'd never heard of this comedian but apparently he started freaking out on twitter about what a huge star he is and then said he had a gun and his friends put him in a mental hospital, and the show's about him trying to rebuild his life and stuff.
I always found the whole tortured stand-up comedian trope interesting, this show is all over that.

I went to see Zach Galifianiakis do his stand up in 2005 and Brody Stevens was one of the opening acts...and he stole the show. Met him after the show to tell him he killed it and have been a fan ever since.
Looked forward to his Comedy Central show but had no idea what it was about. I had no idea he went through this mental breakdown. Pretty fascinating show.

I look forward to more of his dating failures. He pretty much leads off with "I'm a comedian, my friends put me in a psych ward because I was on twitter raving about having a gun, now I'm on meds and I can't drink but I'm fixing myself" and goes from there. Appreciate the honesty, but damn, he just throws everything at these poor women right away.
