I laugh so hard every time I see Joker smack Andrea with that salami.

The end game scene at the amusement park is by far one of the most powerful moments in anything I've ever seen, still gives me chills. The park being set aflame, the music swelling, and Mark Hamill arguably giving his best Joker laugh ever recorded, just something that makes one appreciate cinema and what animation can do. And, I'd argue that one scene encompasses the Joker's character better than any live action effort of the character that's been put to film despite the great performances that have been done with the role.

Oh yes, this movie is phenomenal. I would argue that it's actually a good bit better than Batman 89...but then, I'm not a very big fan of that movie, so y'know, your mileage may vary.

I would agree with that sentiment. I'd argue it's the best Batman movie period, live action or animated. Though the Nolan ones I do admit get close and make it tricky.

Until BATMAN BEGINS came along, MASK OF THE PHANTASM was my favorite Batman movie. And it is still really awesome, regardless.

It is my favorite Batman movie, and really, nothing else comes close, except maybe the Beyond Joker flick.

It comes in 2nd as my favorite Batman animated film, only finally being topped with the release of "Under the Red Hood", but it's still amazing. Doesn't show its age.
