Anyone actually read this yet? I probably won't though I do read Cracked quite a lot. Perhaps if I saw it somewhere for cheap on an impulse buy, but other than that I doubt it.
Plus, I just find all the plugging for it they've been doing obnoxious at this point.

I stopped liking Cracked after getting out of high school and not needing any more reading material for when I was bored in class. I feel like their articles have gotten significantly worse since then too so a whole book of their bullshit doesn't seem too appealing to me.

I find Cracked to be ideal toilet reading, so I only read it on my phone when I'm doing my business. No point buying a book when I can get all I need on a more mobile platform.

It sounds like something I would actually enjoy. But all the over-the-top, constant shilling in every single article annoys me. Which is why I'm not buying it.
The same goes for that book by one of the Cracker writers, John Dies at the End. The non-stop shilling irritated me so I refuse to buy it.

I haven't bought it and their shilling is rather annoying but their first book You might be a zombie and other bad news was great.
So I may check it out at some point.

Honestly, Cracked's constant shilling has put me off going on their website. I used to check it out once a day, now, it's maybe once a week if I'm bored and need something to read/kill time with.
Largely because I'm tired of seeing every article plugging the Cracked book, the authors own book or Cracked's t-shirt store.

I got it, even for a bathroom book it's really short.

From what I hear, it's almost 100% content already published on the site, sometimes straight-up copy-pasted from the articles so yeah, I'll pass. Plus the fact that they feel the need to advertise it every-goddamn-where on their website just makes me want to avoid it as to not support, let alone reward this kind of obnoxious advertising. I haven't bought it and their shilling is rather annoying but their first book You might be a zombie and other bad news was great. So I may check it out at some point. Seriously their shilling is annoying. Mentioning it at the top of every damn article is going to piss people off....... It already is, the comment sections are full of people voicing their frustration at this and parodying it. People's reactions has slowly gone from "huh, that's a pretty interesting concept. Maybe I'll get it" to "Heh, pretty clever how they're parodying shameless shilling" then "Okay guys, you're really overdoing it, it's getting old" and finally "WILL YOU SHUT UP ABOUT YOUR GOD-DAMN DE-TEXTBOOK?!".

I'd be more interested in a collection of the magazine it was spawned from, or at least the stuff mort todd, art clowes, peter bagge, and steve ditko did for it.
