I recently went to Universal Studios in Hollywood.
One of their current attractions is a Simpsons 4D ride. They also have a Kwik E Mart themed gift shop, and Simpsons merchandise in the many gift shops around the park. I bought a Doughnut shaped cushion and a Duff Surley bottle opener.
Anyway enough about my fun day out.
The Simpsons is a Fox property... So why do they have a large pressence at a rival studio's theme parks?

I guess it's because Fox don't have their own theme park and Universal offered them some $$$$ which Fox had no reason to turn down.
I found the Simpsons ride quite disappointing to be honest, though I enjoyed being in line for it and watching the new and Classic footage on the tv's. And the themed area around it was awesome
I also didn't like the Transformers ride either, My favourites were Jurassic Park and the backlot tour. Only got to see one show which was Waterworld which was enjoyable

FOX doesn't have an amusement park in the United States, and to be honest, I think they built the Simpsons attraction because of the Harry Potter attractions and it would give the British tourists something to do.
Still peeved Harry Shearer didn't do the original 4D ride, but I think he was part of the Foolish Earthlings ride.

There's no Harry Potter attractions at Universal California, and there's not many British tourists at the California one, me and my families accents stood right out.

Did you get a Bort keychain? Those things run out quick. Do they actually sell those, or are they always out as a gag?

I was thinking about Universal Orlando, where the Harry Potter attraction is.

A person I follow on Instagram took a bunch of photos of this. Coolest thing I saw was a drink named after John Swartzwelder.
