Cool, I actually posted this in Fsin's Power Rangers review column thread, but it's always worth a second look.

I wonder do they still have any of those props somewhere in storage....or do they just trash them after they have no more use for them.

Purely speculation on my part, but considering what it seems like they were made out of, unless they were kept in pristine condition, I'd imagine a lot of them would have disintegrated by now.

Aww the days of power rangers zords not being just pieces thrown together. Which makes me feel so damn sorry for the suit actor that had to endure this boheamith.

Actually I think when one series wraps up, they just repaint and reconfigure parts of the last costume to make some of the parts for the robots and monsters for the new series. At least that's what they did back then because the budgets were a lot smaller and they didn't have the CG effects of today to work with. Another thing that blew my mind from the video was learning that effect of sparks flying off of the ranger's costume when hit were an actual practical effect and not just super imposed in post production. Makes me respect the stunt teams on these shows even more because those squibs must be super hot, and when you're already in a skin tight suit in the middle of summer you must have nerves of steel to be able to endure it all.
