The three team version leads to some interesting possibilities in terms of heel/face turns and betrayals...

Make the entire show just EC matches.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Orton vs Cena vs Punk vs Bryan vs ADR vs Show Intercontinental Championship: Langston vs Henry vs Rey vs Ziggler vs Sandow vs Fandango Tag Team Championships: The Brotherhood vs Real Americans vs Usos vs Primetime Players vs Ryback & Curtis Axel vs R-Truth & Xavier Woods Divas Championship: AJ vs Brie vs Nikki vs Tamina vs Natalya vs Kaitlyn 6-man Tag Team Elimination: The Shield vs Wyatt Family

Just thinking about it, I have huge doubts WWE would ever do this. They didn't even toss a tag TLC on the TLC PPV.
Plus they wouldn't want to overshadow their important Elimination Chamber match either.
That won't stop people from thinking this is the best possible conclusion to what the tag division can be doing right now and thus get upset when it doesn't end up going in this direction.

That would be overkill. 2 would be a good number. They've done two every year except for last year.

At TLC 2012, they had a TLC match, a Ladder match, a Chairs match and a Tables match. They've had 2 Elimination Chamber matches every year except for last year's edition (which had the Rock in a big one-on-one matchup). I don't think this is such a stretch.

Tossing a bunch of tag teams into a featured main event match... because people on a wrestling board think the division is strong (PTPs/Matadores notwithstanding) and would like to see them in a featured semi-main spot on an important PPV in the road to WrestleMania? Yup. No stretch inferred. If they even do two Chamber matches, I'd expect one for Orton's belt and another for #1 Contender after Rumble Shenanigans. That's much more likely.

I love the idea, we should start a twitter petition and send it to WWE. I like 6 teams rather than 3 but I can see 3 working a bit better.

What about 4 teams? Start off with one member from each team in the ring and their partners are in the cells.

I appreciate the snark, but they actually have been pushing the tag division as important in recent months. They've gotten to main event Raws and Smackdowns so I don't see why them being the opening match in a Chamber match is a stretch at all.

It would instantly steal the show.
