Just read this on amog.com it came up on stumbleupon.
Goldust’s New Rack
If you say anything about second-generation wrestler Dustin Rhodes, you should say that he’s loyal. When he signed with WWE and was given the gimmick of the ambiguously gay face-painted Goldust, most wrestlers would have balked – especially if they were the son of “The American Dream,” Dusty Rhodes. But Dustin went balls-out with the character, making Goldust one of the most memorable and effective heels of the Attitude Era.
This one goes into the seemingly endless pile of “McMahon bad ideas,” but it’s such an amazing one that we felt it deserved merit. To jazz up the Goldust character, Vince brought up the idea of Dustin going under the knife and receiving silicone breast implants to further blur the gender line. Dustin offered no protest, but it took the strong objections of a team of doctors before the WWE backed off on the idea.
Anyone ever heard of this before?

I've heard it before.
Considering he wore a jumpsuit, couldn't they have just made changes to his attire?

Yes, it's one of my favourite stories.
I think it's been confirmed that it was the other way around though; Goldust proposed it, not Vince. I think people want it to be Vince to go along with the "crazy Vince" stories.

I've heard it before. Considering he wore a jumpsuit, couldn't they have just made changes to his attire? I'm guessing the original idea would have been for him to 'get them out' seen as Vince was going to stump up a lot of cash for plastic surgery, so I don't think the alterations would do. I'm glad it didn't happen, I don't think he'd be on the stellar run he's on right now if he had a pair of huge knockers. It just wouldn't work.

I will never forget the time that I first read the story about Dan Madigan's idea of a cryogenic Nazi soldier being managed by the Jewish Paul Heyman actually stunning Vince into silence. The tears rolling down my cheeks from sheer laughter was like heaven's river.

Yeah, McMahon confirmed it a long time ago on Raw during the final Nitro. It was among the backstage skits, which included the famous one of him basically saying Jeff Jarrett was not welcome back.

Wasn't Goldust "pregnant" at some point too?

He offered to get implants if Vince paid him $1mm. Vince thought it over before turning him down.

About the Madigan meeting, I just envision Vince going home and just sitting at the edge of his bed for the rest of the day after hearing that. Just staring at the wall.

As much as it might have been ill-fitting/morally reprehensible given the lack of transgender wants from Dustin, if he had of done it we would have always remembered the name of Goldbust.

I'd just like to remind everyone that Vince McMahon wanted to give a man breasts and have an incestuous on-screen relationship with his daughter, but apparently it's "Nazi managed by a Jew" that's crosses the threshold of good taste in his mind.

Every so often, I have this image of evil Paul Heyman with a big search crew, pulling a big block of ice out of the Arctic Sea. I can just see the glee on his face when he sees a big, athletic looking guy in a Nazi uniform. "This will DESTROY the Undertaker!"

Now if the Nazi had been a gorilla suit, he'd have said yes in a heartbeat.

Remember hearing this way before I got the internet in 2000. Not sure where it was but I remember it coming off as if it was Goldust's idea.

The tears rolling down my cheeks from sheer laughter was like heaven's river. My favorite part was that Vince actually left the room in silence. I can just imagine him getting in his limo, hopping on his private jet, and going into his mansion all while having the same stunned look of silence.
