This thread just makes me think, I would love to see Earthbound crossed with Star Tropics somehow. I would love just to see Star Tropics 3. Since Kid Icarus finally got a sequal, it's a shoe-in for the greatest Nintendo Franchise to not get a sequel. One of the gest NES games ever made, IMO. I'd also love for a Crystalis remake. It was so ground-breaking for its time. It was absolutely tremendous. Also one of the greatest NES games ever made. The closest we've gotten to a sequel or remake, that I'm aware of, was the one for the Game Boy Color. When I first saw Ness in Super Smash Bros, I thought he might have been Mike Jones from Star Tropics because of the fact that he used a bat and a yoyo as a weapon.

I tried the game for a while, got tier 2. I haven't seen anything like the castle or that sci-fi building. I did find a mineshaft area, a few NPC filled towns, and a HUGE branching cave that seemed to go down forever, with many large drops, getting lots of ore and those pixel crate things. It went so far down I actually found lava. I had to save and quit so I'd be back at my ship cause climbing out would have been impossible, this was before I knew you could take dirt from your inventory to build up stuff. I'm gonna stop playing and wait for the full release, or at least until they add quests. Having actual quests to do, including random quests from NPCs which I heard was planned, would make a huge difference to me. I haven't run in to any bugs, but a lot of things still aren't explained well or at all, so hopefully that will be fixed by release too. Yeah, I just started mining down really, really deep. That's a lot of fun. I will sometimes mine in such a way that I'll drain down an entire lake and flood my caves or cause a gravel avalanche. It's a ton of fun. And vaguely creepy, I might add. I feel like I'm going to a Devil or something.
