...and let him roll with a character like The Missing Link, who would you pick?
I was on YouTube watching videos of that crazy guy. Heenan begging him to not hit his own head on the turnbuckle. THAT'S the kind of guy we never see anymore. He'd need a manager to control him, so sick him with Heyman.
Who's with me? Would another shtick like this not be a breath of fresh air to someone's stale career in the company? Like maybe have him snap one day or something and become a new Linkster.

I wouldn't go with a full repackage, but a short angle would be nice just to give a gimmickless wrestler the opportunity to showcase a personality and endear the performer to the WWE Universe.
Like if a random wrestler just took a bad bump to the head, either during a match or during a beatdown such as being attacked by the Wyatts or Orton throwing one of his PMS moments because HHH and Steph took away his TV for a week. The wrestler would take a Sister Abigail or Orton's DDT onto a chair or something, and then we get a segment of him being examined by trainers and he appears to be unresponsive. The next week the guy is in his new crazy gimmick and it goes for a few weeks, months until the point where the takes another bad head bump from the same guy and is back to normal.

For some reason, I think if Mojo Rawley grew his hair out, he'd probably really fit well as a new era "Missing Link"- similar enough look, just barely needs the repackaging, and the "I don't get hyped, I STAY hyped" stuff could be a good post-CTE era way to pull the "hitting your head to cause it" concept.

I'd give it to Mason Ryan. Cause otherwise, that dude ain't never gettin' over.
But if I was forced to give it to somebody that DIDN'T suck, I'd choose Konnor or Luke Harper.

I'd repackage someone I didn't like as a rib. So...Tensai.
In terms of repackaging someone to a gimmick I'd pick I'd cut Sheamus's hair real short, let him grow fine stubble, dress him in black street clothes and have as his initial gimmick someone who wouldn't leave the local bar to fight.
"Next up on Raw it's Sheamus vs Big Show..."
So his music plays.."Ladies and gentlemen, we apologise for the delay..."
We see Sheamus sitting alone in the bar in the corner with a pint. Road agents run in "Sheamus you're on!" and he's all like "Get the **** out of my face" and throws one out the pub window. And carry on in similar ilk and make Sheamus the street-wise "I'm only fighting for money" heel/face/tweener character. A real tough, non-nonsense, basic, moody SOB that fans can live vicariously through who isn't into gimmicks or lights or even entrance music. He comes in, when paid enough, kicks ass and leaves and doesn't care if he wins a title or if anyone cheers for him or what. And if he wants to spend a night drinking a pint in a pub rather than wrestle - he will and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it.
...then when that fails.....Missing Link II

Ryback's a loss now, toss some facepaint on him, pair him with Big Zeke/Mason Ryan/other hoss as a Demolition/Road Warriors/Powers of Pain style team.

Sheamus as Finlay? His name is Sheamus and he likes to fight? (I actually miss that gimmick and really enjoyed that era of Findley, before it was the Hornswoggle show.
Tensai needs a repackaging bad. He went from pinning Cena to Tons of Funk. He basically lost all the momentum when he came back after being a major star in Japan. Missing Link could work or just make him a bad ass again. He's a huge guy with speed and agility, it shouldn't be that hard.
If Sean O'Haire was younger I'd say give it to him. I always felt like he didn't quite get the chance he should have.
