That's the thing though, Kofi's record sheet is clean. Never got wellness'd, no reports of him ever doing anything dumb backstage. There was no reason to pull the rug from under him. Oh I didn't mean to indicate that Kofi had been Wellnessed. I was just thinking of how many people had pushes that fizzled or were straight up reversed for seemingly no reason. Ending a pugs for a wellness violation is perfectly justifiable. Not sure what happened for Kofi though. Nah, WWE sometimes does the thing where you get pushed, everything is fine, you're on you P's and Q's, putting on good matches, and cutting good promos. They just stop your shit cold to see if you don't dog it in the ring or set Vince ablaze in response. That goes near the top on "The List Of Really Stupid Shit They Need To Stop Doing TM."

Big Show had a shoot interview last year around this time that said Kofi's right on the tier before moving up and he's one of the next. With that said, I'm not sure what WWE is waiting for. At least let give him a shot to make up to the uppercard and see how he deals with it. If he sinks he sinks, if he doesn't then he does but he can't keep being the gatekeeper of the midcarders. We know he's the King of the Midcard but now isn't the time for that. Move Kofi up and see how it turns out for him. I'd say let Kofi do well from now until the Money in the Bank match and have him win. At least give him something.
It's depressing to see that a guy like that has tried so hard and he's literally been stuck for a good minute.
