Don't know if this has already been posted, I couldn't see it. Feel free to lock if it has been. But Bourne posted this on Twitter on the 28th: Trolling? Or legit, do you think?

I don't know if it's a big enough return for a Rumble. A lot of people have probably forgot who he is.

So, he's going to be wrestling on the kickoff show?

So the rumored list of returnees (from every source I can find) is:
Jericho RVD Batista Lesnar Bourne Sheamus Christian
So like a fourth of the Rumble is returning guys? I'm oddly okay with this.

I'm kind of surprised they'd have him back.
He's of that 2006-2010 midcard generation that the higher-ups want nothing to do with, it seems - thinking of Masters, Trent, Carlito, MVP, Kennedy.

If the last few years are any indication, this means he's not returning at the Rumble.

Honestly, I forgot he was even still in the company.

Well he was badly injuried and they haven't fired anybody who was injured in forever, it's bad publicity. So luckily for him he gets to stay on the roster to rehab his injury because of that. But when he gets fully healthy, I dunno if they'll keep him around. They've got a ton of guys in NXT who are younger with a bigger upside to them.

I swear this is like, the fourth time he's hinted at coming back.
It'll be funny to see if anyone even remembers him when he eventually returns.

Because the term "Conway pop" was getting old.

I dunno. I feel like Bourne never really got a chance to get his feet on the ground, so to speak.
Aside from being RKO'd mid-ssp, has he really been given any real moments to work with and build off of?

I'm still waiting for Benjamin, Carlito, Masters, & MVP to return from last years Rumble rumors.
I'd like to see Bourne come back, & I could definitely see it happening at the Rumble. Where is it this year? I think he'd get a pretty big pop no matter where it's held though.

I wouldn't mind Bourne returning for the Rumble.
It's certainly better than having some "legend" return just for a pop, and then leaving right away with no one mentioning them again.

He will get injured running down to the ring I assume.

He had that admittedly odd one-month push where he opened RAW brawling with Edge and beat Jericho - I think. Fans welcomed it nicely. It went nowhere.

He will get injured running down to the ring I assume. I don't know why people think someone suddenly becomes injury prone as soon as they have their first injury. Before now, Evan Bourne's never had a single serious injury since he's become a wrestler. Not to mention, he's still fairly young, so I see no reason to believe that he'd be injured so easily when he returns.

He will get injured running down to the ring I assume. Is he really injury prone though? His foot was destroyed in an accident, & is lucky to even be walking let alone wrestling from what I understand. Unless I'm forgetting something, he isn't Mysterio-like. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though.

People talk as if Bourne has been passed by by the NXT guys but if the injury hasn't affected his ability too badly (maybe a big if considering how bad it was) then some WWE matches with Zayn, Neville, Kallisto and others would be welcome.
