"On April 4, 2006, Orton was suspended for sixty days for "unprofessional conduct."[86] In an interview, Orton stated, "my conduct was unbecoming of a champion, which is what I will be again when I return."[87] To cover for the suspension, a faked injury was devised, where Kurt Angle broke Orton's ankle during a grudge match."

He had a joint backstage at Smackdown and Prichard ratted him out.

Dianabol I believe. (If you've followed this board for a while, you may remember Orton and Dianabol being a minor meme back then)
And yes he was caught with pot, but pot is not a wellness violation.

Dianabol I believe. And yes he was caught with pot, but pot is not a wellness violation. He was suspended twice in 2006. Once for the weed (thats why it was a conduct suspension) and again for the dianabol later on. Seperate incidents. The OP wasnt asking about a wellness violation.

So the "trashing hotel room at WM22" story wasn't true?

So the "trashing hotel room at WM22" story wasn't true? That was to cover for Eugene I think. He knew Eugene would be fired so Orton decided to take the heat for it

Vince got mad when he found out that Orton was crapping in Divas bags because he didn't drop a deuce in Vince's suitcase, so he felt left out. Insta-heatz.

The thing is nobody on earth is up in arms about someone smoking week. It's the steroid and hardcore prescription drug addictions that are the problem. Someone smoking a joint should almost be encouraged in the industry to be honest. Rather someone gets through the day that way than pill poppin'

I agree with you that if its before the match, thats not right nor smart so the punishment was deserved in that respect, but is there anything that states it was before? He could've been skinning up after his night was over. EDIT: NVM, I just saw the "but if" lol

"Goddammit Randy, there's nothing wrong with taking a nice steamy dump in someone's luggage. In fact, I believe it's a man's god given right to shit where he pleases. You just have to shit in the right luggage and until you figure that out you're suspended goddammit!

So the "trashing hotel room at WM22" story wasn't true? Didn't he trash a hotel room during the 2007 Spring European tour? That was one of the reasons Cena/HBK went as long as it did, if I recall correctly.

A publicly traded company with a history of Drug incidents encouraging that behavior would be an incredibly stupid thing to do.

It's only technically illegal, for most people it doesn't matter. You'd have to be uber righteous with your sobriety to even count it, really. It's just a more fun tobacco.

That was one of the reasons Cena/HBK went as long as it did, if I recall correctly. I'm trying to remember since I was in Chicago for WM22 and the wrestlers' hotel was locked down.... either that he was rude to hotel staff or he had trashed his room, which was why Rey won at 22 (sparking "Eddiesploitation")

As was said, it was Eugene that trashed the hotel room and Orton took the heat for it.
