Being a child of the 90s I grew up watching a lot of talk shows, which were your favorites?

When I was in the hospital for a month or so almost twenty years ago now, I watched a lot of Springer.
Redneck chaos is fun to watch.

My brother and I would watch Ricki Lake, it was a show pretty focused on a younger generation.
At least we watched until "chickenhead" became a buzzword for the show.

One of the ways I figured out I was getting old was that the only talk show I can watch anymore is Charlie Rose.
No stupid monologues, no pandering, no outdated jokes. Just down to business conversation.

I loved Johnny Carson as a kid. Still a fan of David Letterman. The last couple of years, though, I've been watching Conan.

Daytime: Ricki Lake. The best part was taking "questions" from the audience, which were just a constant stream of slams on the guest.
Night: Space Ghost. Not a really real talk show, but the only one I ever watched.

Used to watch Jerry Springer and Sally Raphael a lot. Nowadays, I sometimes like to watch Steve Wilkos. I watched Maury too, but I burned myself out on him for a while.

Jerry Springer. Steve Wilkos. Maury.
Everything else is a lame cheap ass imitation.

No one comes close to '80s era David Letterman.

Ricki Lake was awesome. When I heard she was coming back I was so hoping it'd be like the old version, instead it was another Tyra Banks like show.

I'd watch most of them (Jerry, Ricki, Maury, Jenny), I also watched Richard Bey for a little while.

At the time, back in the day: Ricki Lake (my sister used to watch it almost every day, so it's the one I ended up watching the most and even enjoying from time to time... even now, it's well entertaining in its trash.)
Now: Morton Downey Jr. Show (I've been watching random eps of this for the last couple years and it's just so ridiculous, I can't turn away. The crowds are insane for these.)

Back in the day I'd say Morton Downey Jr. Showing my age a bit there... Today, it's Conan by a long shot, but even then I only watch a couple times a month.
