Honestly, I don't know why anyone bothers trusting WWE these days. If Vince McMahon asked me to loan him a stick of gum I'm convinced he'd find some way to use it to make me go bankrupt.

I'm glad that after years of WWE burning me out, I'm in the Zen of low expectations and apathy that when something good happens, it'll feel f***ing amazing. Then something bad happens and I get burnt out again. And apathy starts.

This needs to be updated with Heel Ryback and other things but.. Seems like a terrible way to watch something to see a storyline start then go WELL THIS IS GOING TO BE AWFUL, I'LL GUESS I KEEP WATCHING? Also Orton winning the title from Christian. Didn't that last for several months including Christian getting the title back?

My whole issue is this. Replace Bryan with Cena in this storyline. Does ANYONE earnestly believe they would have Cena basically give up and concede to the heels like Bryan did? How about CM Punk? Hell, even Sheamus? They literally took their most popular guy with live audiences and made him look essentially like he's a quitter. That he would rather join a stable of bad guys than continue to fight. Sure, he'll end up breaking through, but it's certainly possible there's potential damage being done by him just admitting defeat the way he did. Great point. And like I mentioned earlier, the crowd was DYING for him to attack them there on the ramp. They'll be that hot for awhile, but they run the risk of cooling him off for no reason if they drag this out too long.

I hope this isn't against forum rules, but I got some serious "Jesus being tempted by Satan in the wilderness" vibes out of all this, and they're going with the alternate universe route of Jesus actually giving in to the temptation. ... I like it, which means it's probably not what they are going for.

Awesome ending. Bryan will be just as over 3 weeks from now, he'll use the Wyatts to win the Rumble, then turn on them. Bryan/Bray at the Feb. PPV, Bryan wins the belt at mania.

Meh, your image is not as funny. That's because I'm not insulting WWE! No, I'm pretty sure it's because you just posted an unimaginative blank picture with a lame line of text.

So Bryan's been put in an angle or a situation that on paper seems like it's going to ruin him, yes? Where have I seen that before... Oh right, the main play-by-play man in the company turning on him for no unfathomable reason. And having an assigned "mentor" who has about half the experience. And being fired from the company for being too violent. And having been the subject of a sex bet. And having been dropped from WrestleMania days before the show. And having been squashed in 18 seconds at the next WrestleMania. And having been dumped at the altar. And having lost his mind and being put into anger management. And being the subject of ridicule for his grooming. And having lost two WWE Championship reigns within 24 hours. And MULTIPLE losing streaks. HE HAS OVERCOME ALL OF THAT, and "Because WWE" isn't enough of a reason for me to not believe that he'll be on the other side of this more over than ever, if that's even possible. F*** it if it makes me naive or whatever, I WANT TO BELIEVE.
This keeps happening, and he'll become so damn powerful that by 2015, we'll all be praying to a new god. He's already got the beard for it.

Regardless of what they have planned, the last segment of 2013 is their current fan favorite straight giving up, and since following the wwe mold of top face means never giving up, I can't buy into the idea that there's big plans for Daniel Bryan in the future. Maybe they're trying to buck that trend, but considering they've been doing that for as long as I lived, that's a lot of history to the contrary.

WWE doesn't care about what the fans want. All they care about is what entertains them.

What would have happened if John Cena when he was just about to be pushed into the spotlight ended up joining the Cabinet. And one of the issues is this. I'm sick of these "wait and see" angles. They all turn into shit. If they didn't, I'd have a bit more confidence. And is this all an elaborate plan for Bryan to f*** over the Wyatt Family? He can beat both Rowan and Harper? Does he really feel he needs to join the Wyatt Family? If he's lying, why go through the trouble in getting beat up by them? Why not low blow Bray Wyatt right there.
And not only that, let's look at it from another point. Bray Wyatt hits Sister Abigail, and Bryan is eventually able to stand up on his own power after getting the f*** beat out of him? If they were going to have Bryan join them, just carry him out again after Wyatt hit Sister Abigail, why make the guy's finish look bad. Or, don't hit the finish at all. If you're building towards Cena, nobody gets up after the Sister Abigail move.
And, AND, Bryan ends up turning on the Wyatt Family and makes them look dumb/bad/whatever, what's that to help with the build for Wyatt vs Cena if that was to happen? It's bad for both guys.

Another thing is that I think people need to look at what the WWE did.
They turned this boring "Bryan keeps getting beaten up again by the Wyatts, bah" feud into the hottest feud in the WWE. It's surpassed the other feuds and they even let it go last on the show, a show with Cena and Lesnar on it no less. Everyone here is on the edge of their seats wondering what's going to happen and we're in-depth with the angle. Imagine how many fans Bryan is going to gain each week that are casual fans.
They've made Bryan have the most interesting angle in the company above Cena/Orton, Lesnar and Punk/Shield.
Bravo WWE. Bravo.
