i commented on this on facebook:
Cracked listed Jeff Hanneman as the no. 11 overlooked death of 2013. I call bullshit on that. If someone said to me what celebrity deaths were there last year Jeff Hanneman is the only one I could name. Or possibly that f***wit that isnt Vin Desiel but I don't know his name

sorry Cracked, but a lot of those did make headlines. you fail again I don't think their point is that they didn't make headlines but rather that they remained surprisingly obscure.

Everyone is known in some circles, and obviously all of these deaths are reported otherwise no one would know. I think the idea was that these deaths were all overshadowed by the likes of Mandela, Gandolfini, Walker or Monteith, and I wouldn't really disagree.

I actually saw KING RALPH the other day on TV and was wondering if Richard Griffiths had died or if I'd just mistaken his death for someone else's.....
Drat.
And consider that, 2 of the 3 important British male characters in that movie (Griffiths and Peter O'Toole) died this year.
Please don't kill John Hurt tonight, Lord. Please?

Mr T L Wolf
Hank Scorpio
He has the looks of Andre the Giant, and the strength of Barry Windham. Not to mention he's a hero to a few armadillos, a kangaroo and a small herd of bison.

I know it's a comedy website but come on, the guy who invented the Loco Taco is #1? That was front page on Reddit the day it happened.

Funny, the one and most probably the only time I went into a Taco Bell was about a week after that guy died. If I knew the inventor had died I would of got a Doritos Taco... But I did not

Every list looking back on the people who died this year seem to omit Ray Manzarek for some reason.
