My objections to TNA -They don't let the moment sink in when a loss is felt -They are pushing wrestlers so green geese crap is calling infringement -They stopped building up Samuel Shaw possibly for that reason yet still push Tapa -Almost non existent Tag Team division -Commentators that are yelling over each other, and sure WWE does it as well but doesn't go off the rails like Taz does - Almost non existent Knockout division - No developmental league so their talent can't really develop - They were willing to Lo Ball their face of the company and let him walk only for another company to sign him up right away - Dixie Carter once said she didn't want to be on camera yet look at where she is - A bland champion in Magnus I say this as a regular viewer of TNA

There's times when almost all of us can objectively see something in wrestling and say "that's well done", or "that was done really poorly", but there's just as many times when somebody could say "that was well done...but I'm not entertained".The bold is a great talking point and I fall on that side of the fence from time to time. On the other hand "I'm not entertained" by itself tends to get a little sticky and pessimistic.

Oh my God, if this really turns into a "the company I like is better so nyah" pissing contest I'll lock this and nuke the thread and everybody in it from orbit. If you're thinking you're going to play the silly fanboy game, go out and party for New Year's instead. We were just messing around with each other boss. No issue's here *hits Bad news with a chair* See

TNA is so far removed from what pro wrestling should be (and what WWE is) that you may as well say "Well, at least it's not Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup" and it would have the same amount of meaning. That's amazing. It deserves to be on a t-shirt somewhere.

If by exciting matches you mean basic, bland, and tedious matches. If by compelling angles you mean angles that have been done before (and better) with disappointing resolutions. If by funny you mean 'forced' segments. Tag division is strong at the moment, I'll give you that. If by great production values you mean soulless TV shows with bad camera work. If you by strong media presence you mean a soulless company trying too hard to be accepted in the mainstream, and titles that have meaning (I guess, I don't really care or know who the champions are in WWE), then yes, WWE has it all. TNA is just better than the WWE to me by a wide margin. 2013 is REALLY not the year someone should be making this argument. The WWE in ring product was spectacular this year. The in ring product doesn't matter. I could watch an entire year of WWE where the only matches every weet were Sami Zayn vs Cesaro in 2 hour Ironman matches, but I wouldn't enjoy it if Vince was stood next to me the whole time pissing in my ear 2013 was the year Vince attempted to teabag $200 worth of PPV buys out of anyone who wanted Daniel Bryan to be in the main event. Compare that to TNA where the whole year has been about trying to make Bully Ray, AJ Styles and Magnus into main event stars. Sure, AJ dickbagged them on his negotiation and made them change the ending to their plans, but at least they tried. WWE, is the abusive boyfriend that the last few months has made me decide to leave.

What is this, YouTube?

The OP might as well had just said "Say what you want, but at least it's not the NFL" (while watching an XFL game)

On the other hand "I'm not entertained" by itself tends to get a little sticky and pessimistic. Yeah, a statement like that needs context. For me, it's like when I saw Wrestlemania a few years ago and CM Punk and Randy Orton had a perfectly cromulent match, but I didn't feel any real excitement nor did I feel drawn in by it. That's the overall feeling I get watching WWE; hell, even the Punk/Taker match, which I thought was easily the best match of this past WM, still left me feeling a bit "meh" by the end, because the overall presentation and aesthetic of WWE just leaves me cold. I hate the feeling of being able to say "I haven't watched this show in years, but I still know exactly how they'll cut to a backstage skit, the kind of promo video they're about to kill five minutes with, etc. etc. etc.". TNA has a multitude of faults and is far from my ideal wrestling company, yet I at least don't get that sensation most of the time, so I end up feeling somewhat more involved when I do watch it. In fairness, though, I think my "ideal" wrestling company basically stopped being an attainable reality circa 1989-1991 or so.

Being dead serious here, have you tried to watch ROH or any other indie company? If you are really looking for an alternative, you don't have to settle for TNA. There are better options out there. Alternatives that are actually GOOD. ROH posts their TV show on their website for free. Hell, check out some NJPW on youtube. We haven't been able to get indy shows on TV in the UK since TWCFight went downhill in 2007 and switched to MMA. He didn't say TV though, he said the ROH website and youtube. I don't even watch TV and i know theres plenty of alternative wrestling companies to follow on youtube, TV is becoming a moot point.

Yeah, who wants to see exciting matches, compelling angles, funny segments, a strong tag division, great production values, a strong media presence and titles that have at least a modicum of meaning in TNA anyway? Well I was going to say something clever or rip apart the OP. But that covers it better.

Now, Now. Let's not get into this debate. BOTH companies are currently pretty f***ing awful.
