And I won't be going to Wrestlemania, or much less any wrestling events. I have a feeling I'll barely be watching any wrestling this year, really starting to get burned out and bored by it all. ><

2013 was a year of ups and downs. It was a year of triumph and disappointment. A year of hellos and goodbyes. A year that tested the will of the spirit.
Racing, it was a year to see how it would stand up to my greatest achievement from 2012. It was a learning experience at the end, ending up on the losing side of a close battle for the first time ever. Feeling that sting for the first time, while I've accepted it, it still burns deep inside, knowing I came up short when everytime I've been in that situation, I came out on top. Not to say it wasn't a successful year, but it could've been better.
Family, I got to see the arrival of a new member of the family, as my cousin and his wife welcomed into the world their first child, a boy. And he has brought smiles to us everytime I've seen him. And then, to say goodbye to a pet that I've known almost over half my life, to feel that part of me is now gone. And then the whole scare and ordeal with Dad's health was a test of the will of the spirit, along with the challenge of changing jobs.
2013 was just that much of a year. Let's see what 2014 brings.
Bring it the f*** on.

And its every bit as generic as it sounds, like a true NXT name.  Still, Grey brought up an interesting point. While I like watching classic wrestling, I have not the drive to actually devote my time to watch all those 3-hour RAWs, Smackdowns etc. on the road to Wrestlemania. That's just too much to watch each week. I think I will still just only read the reports (and listen to entrance themes so I don't get confused on which Superstar is now coming). |

That's pretty much where I'm at. I don't watch the shows at all, but I follow it closely enough where it feels like I do. And that gives me a clearer perspective than many who'd get ground down by the routine of actually watching it and the regularly unsatisfying output.

More of you should watch NXT, IMO. I heard from a source, it is pretty good and very similar to those World Championship Wrestling shows on TBS from the mid-late 1980s. |
