Cena vs Taker is the more consensus choice for best box office draw for Mania.

I watched most of Lesnar's return, figuring as he challenges someone, waiting, waiting, waiting on the lights to go out and a gong to go off. Mark Henry walked out. I changed the channel.
Taker is so over, he doesn't need to be there to build feuds or get a pop. He can play mind games with Brock until he's damn well ready to appear on TV and the feud will be twice as hot as anything Henry could be.

But considering this is the 30th anniversary of Wrestlemania, I feel we need the biggest match for Taker, and as big as Brock vs. Taker would be, Cena vs. Taker would be bigger.

It's a tough call, because these are the only two big dream matches left that WWE can put on, but they obviously can't be on the same card.
After last night's talk about Brock going after the world title, I kinda like the idea of him winning the belt and then putting over the Rumble winner. Which frees up Cena vs. Taker as the main event. And it feels like we're getting into the right time to do that match; Cena's basically indestructable now, enough that they had no problems having him take clean losses to Bryan and Orton earlier this year. He's at a point where he isn't essential enough to the product that he needs to be protected from losing to the streak, but still looks like the biggest kayfabe challenge left for Undertaker.

If there's one person that I'd wager the majority of fans think could really hurt and defeat the Undertaker, it's Brock Lesnar.

I really don't care about either match, but I'd prefer Brock simply because I don't think they could resist the urge to have Cena end the streak after taking 3 tombstones and 5 last rides.

I'm not particularly interested in either one at this point... but at least Cena / Taker would be something new-ish. Lesnar and Taker aren't topping their Hell in a Cell match.

After listening to Edge and Jericho talk about how they tried to talk Cena out of the Nexus Summerslam finish and how stupid of an idea they thought it was and to resort to "f*** it, we won't be out there by then" I don't really want Cena near the Streak.

I've heard some crazy flip flopping directions from a few of my guys in the last 24 hours. Please take it with a grain of salt, because the connections I have are not exactly super high on the corporate totem pole there, but do work under those who are. That said, it looks like WWE might be going with Lesnar vs Batista after all; (as is evidenced by this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jd8lIWX6f4c ) HHH vs. Punk; and either Bryan vs Orton; Bryan vs Cena vs. Orton; or Cena vs Taker ... just as everyone wishes. There's a bit of talk that WWE might do a double pin at Rumble, and hold up the Title like they did in late 2004; and use the Chamber as a way to determine the Champion going in to face the Rumble winner at Mania. Those participants will likely be Orton, Cena, Brock, Big Show and Punk. Bryan will likely face Wyatt in a blow off match at EC. Maybe for the Rumble shot. But I've heard literally nothing about who'll win and how. I just heard that Brock will interfere and eliminate Big Dave at Rumble; and Big Dave will return the favor at Chamber.

Brock is also the guy who in kayfabe has destroyed Taker every time they've come face-to-face and to the best of my knowledge has never lost to him. It's a challenge that Taker has never been able to overcome unlike Cena. Both are good matches but if you want to argue kayfabe, Brock owns Taker.

cena/taker in that I frees up Lesnar for Batista, and then someone else can go for the title

I voted for Cena/Taker simply because I can see WWE booking Cena to defeat the streak. I don't see that as a possibility with Lesnar. I think both matches can be entertaining, but in terms of unpredictability, I see Cena with the better odds and that will keep me on the edge of my seat.

Neither.
I have little interest in Taker vs. Brock.
IF Cena crosses paths with Taker, I don't see any way that they DON'T give him the streak. Either Cena wins right then and there, or he mopes around for a whole year like he did with The Rock and they have him "redeem himself" next year. And Cena doesn't need the rub of the Streak.

To me, the ONLY way you have Cena vs. Taker is with the end of the streak and Cena heel turn. Save it for next year and use Brock, while he's still around. I have a lot more faith in Cena being around for WM 31 than Brock.

If there's one person that I'd wager the majority of fans think could really hurt and defeat the Undertaker, it's Brock Lesnar. Brock is only a special attraction, whereas Cena has been THE hero, and THE Superman for the company for almost a decade. He's the only one who anyone can even think remotely has a chance at coming out on top.
