Also former Deputy Prime Minister of Canada (Vice President Equivalent) Don Mazankowski was my next door neighbor until his heart attack in which he moved to New Zealand then Calgary. That one still blows my mind considering the dude is mega rich and just had an average house in a average neighborhood. Also one of the co founders of Boston Pizza lives in a farm near the town I grew up in and started his own pizza place called Perry's Pizza. I met him once when I was 7.

My next door neighbor used to date Patrick Beverly (NBA player). I'd see them talking when I came home from school, but I didn't want to interrupt a dude who was getting his mack on.

I used to live near Travis Tritt and Ray 'Big Boss Man' Traylor. At another time I lived near minor celebrity Doug Stone (had a country hit in the 1990s and starred in the modest hit Gordy, the other talking pig movie). I've seen Tritt. I've seen Doug Stone many times at local restaurants.
I never saw Big Boss Man, but I remember when he ran for office shortly before his death. There were many political yard signs that said, "Vote for the Big Boss Man." I only ever saw Big Boss Man on WWF house shows.
I also lived near Barry 'Bull' Buchanan. I never knew him, but one of my high school teachers knew him.

I live in the same area where Elton John and Simon LeBon used to live, also a lady that used to clean my Grandparents house was related to Ant of "Ant and Dec". Not sure if this counts but my Grandmother taught Daniel Radcliffe at school, she works as a translator now and had to translate for former Arsenal football player Gilberto Silva at a court case.

My grandma used to live up the street from Prince Naseem's mum. She sometimes saw Naz driving past in his Merc. I never saw him though.

When I still played Soccer I once got a yellow card for a late tackle on the original yellow wiggle Greg Page. He went to High School about 5 blocks from where I grew up.
I have also gotten drunk with Australia Cricketer Doug Bollinger. He grew up in my area & I walked into the local pub one Saturday afternoon & he was there drinking on his own. I shouted out "Hey Dougie" he waved me over & told me he had been there 2 hours & I was the first person to recognize him. So I bought him a beer & we were still there 5 hours later.
Also my brother lives in Vancouver & apparently alot of movies & TV is filmed there. He was in a bar & this short looking guy walked in with 2 really large guys. My brother thought he looked like Harry Potter so he shouted out in a cheesy English accent "It's Harry Potter!". Turns out it actually was Daniel Radcliffe. His minders were ready to bundle him out the door but according to my bro he laughed & waved them off. He then joined my brother & his friends for the next couple of hours & then he picked up the tab on his way out. One of only 3 photos in my brother's house is him, his buddies & a drunk looking Daniel Radcliffe sitting in a corner booth in some bar in Vancouver.

Shawn Michaels lives in my general vicinity. I've never seen him out and about, but my best friend bumped into him at Office Depot once, and my aunt and cousin go to the same church he attends.
Also, it's not really a celebrity, but when I was a kid, the guy who lived across the street from me unsuccessfully ran for mayor.

I've seen Lanny Poffo at the Publix (grocery store) more than a few times. A lot of people there have no idea who he is, but I recognized him by his voice.

I used to live across the street from Gene Lavanchy. (Not sure if he counts as a celebrity, though.)

He obviously didn't live near me, but when I was in high school, Barack Obama gave a speech at a community college that's only a 5-minute walk from my house (before he was President, when he was still an Illinois Senator).

Greg Gagne (former Twins baseball player, not the wrestling guy) and Jerry Remy (Red Sox player and announcer) are both from my hometown. Gagne bought a house about half a mile from where I lived.
Apparent Hank the Angry Dwarf of Howard Stern Show fame lived one town over.
I'd also heard a while ago that Jason Issacs lives/lived like 3 towns away from me, but I could never find any info online about him ever living in Southeastern Massachusetts.

When my mom and uncles were growing up, they lived across the street from former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Trent Green and used to spend the night at his house all of the time.

Grew up in Calgary so I was within distance of the Harts I guess. EDIT: Also just remembered that I went to the same High School as Brets son but never actually met him.
