My friends? No. Most of my acquaintances...yeah. I don't associate with people like that. So I might not hate them, but I don't really talk to them because I know they can't be trusted. If they can't stay in their pants for the sake of their significant other, how can I be even a little bit sure they won't stab me in the back over something?

Very uncommon, as best I can tell. Either nobody I know does it or they're very good at it.

I've been in some circles where they assumed everyone's cheated on their sig other at some point in their life. Which really surprised me as I haven't myself, but the obstinance some people, not all, but some have that EVERYBODY cheats/has cheated is only on par with the notion that EVERYONE drinks. Anything else just leaves them agog with wonder at how someone who doesn't exists.

The military literally ruined my idea of a relationship....My ex wife literally slept with someone on our wedding night during the reception...It's shocking that I didn't end up in prison...With facebook, and meet me and plenty of fish its so ridiculously easy to cheat now that pretty much everyone I know just looks the other way I remember that. All this time later I still don't have to right words to describe that. That's just.....well who the hell does that?

When I first found out about just how rampant cheating was in people in my age bracket I was at a party playing Kings Cup. We get to a never have I ever card and the person says "Never have I ever cheated on someone or been cheated on" and all of a sudden I see the 10 other people and myself that were playing take a drink. We all looked around and laughed awkwardly. It's been about 5 years since that first happened and every time that question gets asked during a round of never have I ever with completely different people I'd say a good 90% of the people playing have to drink. It's sad, but it's life.

As if adding the second "never" makes the question somehow make sense all of a sudden. Strains the mind a bit to think just how common it all is for people. Used to be just dudes too, now everyone's almost PROUD of the fact.

Very uncommon, as best I can tell. Either nobody I know does it or they're very good at it. About the same for me. It's pretty frowned upon in my circle of friends. I've been cheated on, though, by my high school girlfriend. One of the worse feelings of my life, I was sick about it for days. Even today, a decade later and I've since gotten married, and it still makes my stomach churn when I think about it.

I've known plenty of people who cheated on their significant others. In some cases, I can see why they do it, they're unhappy in their relationship and they seek out the love (lust) of another. In other cases, they just want to f*** everything in sight. In any event, I find cheating to be inexcusable and is a total deal-breaker for me.

I have been cheated on twice.
I have been the "other guy" to one married chick and one chick with a boyfriend, and I knew about them both being in relationships

Hard to tell but I would say it isn't that common.
I mean I've know a few people who have been caught cheating but nowadays most of my friends are either married or have children so the stakes are much higher so if they are cheating they must be doing their best not to get busted.

I cheat all the time, otherwise I'd never win a board game. do you make sure that when your opponent has a blackjack you have 2 of those, too?

You know, there is more to what I had mentioned. My youngest aunt (Who is nearly six years older than I am) was a cheatee when this guy who she was with, who is also the father of her two kids, was known to get around. Some of the time, she refused to believe that he would cheat on her and all that stuff. It took a while for her to finally see the light and she has since met and been with a much better guy than her baby's daddy.

Seeing how it affects others made me have a strong response when my brother cheated on his first wife.

My first love cheated on me for 18 months before I found out (we were together 2 years). I had a friend (don't talk anymore) who was a serial cheater. It culminated with him cheating on his GF of 8 years with her best friend the night after her father died. That's why I no longer talk to him, I try not to associate with people who are morally bankrupt.

I dunno, decently high. I've been the "other guy" a few times. I only know for sure one my friends have cheated, back in the day.
It's probably a decent 50%.
