I've never cheated, as I'd feel guilty as shit about it, but twice I've been going out with a girl for a while, only to find out she's already had a boyfriend and been cheating on them with me.
I felt terrible both times, less so on the second after the decided it was my fault as I was obviously a bad influence and tried to fight me. He was like, 5'3 though, so I was able to scare him off. The other dude was pretty mellow though, he knew she'd had a reputation for it apparently, so didn't blame me. Still felt terrible.

The question in my mind is what would drive someone to something like this. It's stuff like this that make me sort of glad that I've never been in a real relationship. I have dated before and the longest relationship I've been in lasted about a couple of months, but it wasn't serious and we weren't exclusive. I haven't been with anybody since, first dates or hangouts don't really count as they didn't evolve.

while we're on the subject, I once went out on a couple dates with a girl only to find out after the second one she had a boyfriend. not sure what was going on there, I think she was maybe looking for an "upgrade" or something. I wasn't very comfortable with that so I ended it before it actually went anywhere.

The military literally ruined my idea of a relationship....My ex wife literally slept with someone on our wedding night during the reception...It's shocking that I didn't end up in prison...With facebook, and meet me and plenty of fish its so ridiculously easy to cheat now that pretty much everyone I know just looks the other way Dude, are you serious? What a horrible f***in' person. Can't say anything else without getting in trouble here. yes im serious...alot of the older posters here remember when this happened...It damn near destroyed me...I started drinking really heavily, got a dui, lost my IT job, and finally manned up and entered a rehab for depression and alcohol abuse...and all this happened in my twenties...It was a very horrible time but I am in a better place now

I'm still coming to terms with the fact that my dad has cheated on my mother for years. I mean, I kinda knew without really knowing(he'd go up to his room with the phone and shut the door, disappearing in the middle of the night...)

...We have a couple living across the street who are swingers.. I helped them hang a few"swings" in one room. Nice people, friendly, easy to get along with...during one of their "activity nights", there must have been 8 couples there, and some iron work came loose from the wall, he called me and asked to re-weld it back togethor, while everyone was there....quite a site to see.. As for me, I never cheated on my wife, even after 23 years of marriage, tempted sure, but i have too much to lose..
