Obviously not counting the fact that the Expendables survived their movie...that was just a matter of going up against extra terrestrial enemies. Who would you rather go into a fight with...who are the baddest marines?

Expendables had marines in it? Also I'm fairly certain Predator(the 1987 movie) had green berets.

The Expendables aren't marines, they're a mercenary force. Some of them probably used to be in the marines, but they're obviously not affiliated with any official military anymore. And Arnold and Carl Weathers in Predator were CIA liasons, they didn't belong to the corps at all.

Technically only one of those is a marine group. The others are mercenaries.

And Arnold and Carl Weathers in Predator were CIA liasons, they didn't belong to the corps at all. I think the word "marine" has evolved to mean "any military guy". I blame this largely on Hollywood ignoring every other type of soldier in all the military branches. I'm still waiting for an army ranger hero.
