If he leaves, just keep it a two man Shield. Though still, in my perfect world, there wouldn't be any violent break-up; they'd just go their separate ways, but still always be on good terms continuity wise. It's totally possible NOT to repeat the same old tired storylines, and do something a little different. three highly aggressive men who were very successful together and will still be working in the same place. Splitting under those circumstance would be very foolish See, not really, you could easily have them decide the 'Hounds of Justice' thing has run its course, and they're off to bigger and better things, but will always "have each others back". It wouldn't last forever that way, but there could always be a mutual respect/sense of friendship there even if they're no longer a team.

That's definitely bad news. If they're turning him baby face, split the group. Don't even replace him with a really talented guy, just get rid of the stable.

Look WWE. Mason Ryan is like Pepsi Clear. Seemed like a fun idea at the time, but no one's buying it. I can't imagine Van Halen would just allow the WWE to use "Right Now" as Mason Ryan's entrance theme without a hefty price tag which the company rightfully refuses to pay for.

I'd almost prefer a heel Hornswoggle.

90% of me doesn't care what they do. 5% says they'll replace Roman with Mason Ryan and it'll be weak as hell. Another 5% says they could do it if they make them completely different, like if they did actually turn from a group of equals to a group that's basically a "shield" for Dean Ambrose and maybe Solomon Crowe if that's what they do with him.

But with Batista coming back how can we tell who the real Mason Ryan is I usually try to say that every wrestler has a place on the roster, but With Batista coming back, does Mason Ryan have a purpose?

Then it's not their choice.

In an ironic twist, it will actually end up being Sin Cara.

I can not imagine it being a hard role to fill. All Mason has to do is stand around while his buddies do the important talking, yell a few times during a match and maintain his good looks...

Goddamn, I didn't think there was a way to kill my boner regarding the Shield but Mason Ryan joining would do it.

Remember how Eric Angle swapped places with Kurt a couple times, and Ryder and Hawkins were Edgeheads? Ryan is a Batista-head.

We could have one of those "1,000 Wrestlers Better Than Mason Ryan to Join the Shield" threads and for once it would not be a joke thread. I'll start. 1. Jumpin' Jeff Farmer Camacho

In an ironic twist, it will actually end up being Sin Cara. Nope, it'll be Hunico and everybody will act like it's still Roman Reigns. A bald, Mexican, Roman Reigns. "This is like a brand new Roman Reigns Maggle!"

People WANT the Shield to break-up? The current Shield is like an amazing race horse. Adding Mason Ryan to the group is like having that horse run on a broken leg. Might as well put it out of it's misery.
