Happy Power Rangers Day everyone It’s a bit bittersweet knowing that the franchise is continuing in some way with new Boom Studios comics coming and Playmates Toys’ take on Power Rangers next year, but a bit sad knowing how much Hasbro has kinda fumbled things to get to this state, with a reboot never getting off the ground and the TV series seemingly done forever. There's also some ambitious projects from fans on the horizon, it's very much like the Wilderness phase of Doctor Who (the drought from 1989-2005, with 1996 sandwiched in between), where the books and merchandise sustain the franchise up until the streamers or networks agree on something. Zenith Films Media are a group I recommend, their Power Rangers Rail Riders mini-series is the closest any fan has gotten so far to replicating the authentic feel of a Super Sentai adaptation, the videos are a nightmare to watch on Youtube however due to Toei blocking most of the footage, so you have to go to their official website for the full uncut versions. They have more adaptations planned in the future.

Now:
Methinks the reboot is dead dead.

Just create an animated series and get the actors you were gonna use in the reboot to use in that. I'm sure it's cheaper than the live action.

Breenan Meijja discusses What could have been in store for a full on Ninja Steel and Dino Charge crossover. Budget cuts meant they could only bring in one of the cast for the Ninja Steel season, which ended up being Koda (which they were largely leaning into because the actor's brother was cast as the Blue Ninja Steel Ranger)
One idea suggested for the crossover was for the Dino Charge Rangers to be paired with a modern day descendent of Koda rather than the original version

Some rare finds here, JDF appearing on GMTV around Christmas 1995, interacting with the legendary 90s fitness guru Mr. Motivator, who used to host the weekend and holiday morning blocks that aired Power Rangers

1999's "History of Power Rangers In Just Over A Minute" in HD.
I used to download this off of Rangercentral so many times.

imagine if they updated this to include all the seasons since 1999 up to Cosmic Fury.

imagine if they updated this to include all the seasons since 1999 up to Cosmic Fury. They can still get Walter to co-narrate it like he did here, but given Austin's legal woes, just switch him out with Yost.
