Yeah its widely agreed upon that OO is the worst season, even worse than Turbo. Doesn't help that the guy who played The Black Ranger turned out to be a total a-hole.
I just could never get that if the Dad couldn't find a suitable wife, why didn't he just pay a woman to carry his child instead of building a robot son

Hell, I'm not even sure if it would fly nowadays.

And is the reverse if we were comparing them as adaptions of their respective seasons.

Is it worse than Megaforce/Super Megaforce though? That's the question. The Operation Overdrive Rangers lost their powers and were lucky enough to have a replacement team, so they decided to quit. As far as I know, the Megaforce team never tried to quit. When the Turbo Rangers lost their powers, they still went to space to fight with no powers, they didn't even have civilian powers.

To be fair, even when the Overdrive Rangers lost access to their ranger forms, they still fought back using their genetic powers knowing that at least they TRIED to take out the villains. When it became clear the past rangers managed to get the job done, they did have an excuse for their resignation. The Megaforce Rangers never gave up considering when the Armada came close to defeating them, they didn't stripped away their powers nor destroyed their Megazords, so they had a higher morale of eventually fighting back.

Overdrive were guns for hire from the beginning, not to mention they did try fighting without Ranger powers at first but that proved futile. The Turbos believed themselves to be the last line of defense for the planet and universe, that there was no one else to turn to. This wasn't the case with OO as they were replaced by another team.

{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} Good thing though is Zedd was snapped out of the control collar at the end and is implied to return later on in the season once he gets his staff back.

When they do S5, they should do some out there characters like Ninjor or The Phantom Ranger.
For Villains I'm surprised Mesogog or Ransik haven't been made playable

For Villains I'm surprised Mesogog or Ransik haven't been made playable Bolding this one to question something: How much of that is getting the rights to the actor's likeness? For example, I know that the 2017 movie Rita is a playable in Legacy Wars, but she was made for that around when that movie came out and the rights were fresh. Has Ransik been in Legacy Wars? If not, how much would it cost to get Vernon Wells' likeness? With Scorpina and TV Show Rita, there were a few people that played them thanks to the use of US footage, so you can futz about with it in that regard. Side-note: I wouldn't mind if they were able to use movie Rita as a skin for the game.

Still say Turbo's second half is super underrated. Isn't the general consensus these days that the show vastly improves after the big cast change? Yes the original cast had worn out their stay because it was just alot of the same ole same ole...not that it was their fault but clearly the show had a formula and milked the hell out of it with that cast untill there was nothing left. The second half with such a large change really brings new life to the show and the story vastly improves going into the finale. But I also cannot begrudge them too much because they had to adapt f***in Carranger which is just a (really hilarious) but completely off the rails season of WTf***ery which was never gonna be an easy thing to adapt at all.
