Kind of a shame because I could see this playing well on Adult Swim or F/X either as a straight dub, sub titled or even an adaptation that pokes fun at Power Rangers and their fan base. Because despite the Japanese setting Akibarangers has a lot of universal themes that are just as prevalent in North American geek culture.

Up to Ep 32 of Zyuranger. I think I'm going to stick to the PS(Post Saban) era for now, mostly cuz I love seeing what matches up to PR and what doesn't.
I will say I can't fathom why Saban didn't bring over Bandora's musical numbers. It would've matched the camp feeling perfectly.

Just watched Brave 45 I need a hug. Literally just finished watching it. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}That was no joke I mean there is being destroyed
And then there is outright being murdered...gawd damn Torin.
Good news is it is more than obvious a plan between he and Kings Father which became obvious once he gave up his sword

I watched the Goseiger/Gokaiger movie the other day, my first real Gokaiger experience.
Captain Marvelous might be my favorite fictional character of all time.

The whole crew is easily my favourite since Kakuranger atleast for me , I would die for a sequel series which I know more than likely wont happen but I can hope for something like 10yr later Hurricanger Movie. Anyways good to see more love for the Marvelous...but we all know where your heart is along with every other ones. DAT LUKA.

At least until a year from now when I can comfortably say how adorable Amy from Kyoryuger is.

I was only tempted to ever stray from my dear Luka once. But lucky for me the force is too strong with Luka.

The Super Sentai 40'th anniversary season is two years from now, that would be the perfect opportunity to bring back the full Gokaiger crew for one of that series' specials or movies. If the actors are available that is.
As for me Captain Marvelous is one of the best reds in any era of Super Sentai, and while do adore Luka, I love Ahim even more. Yeah she's the princess character but the ass kicking type, she's always willing to better herself for the sake of the team.

Even if you took out the gimmick of them being able to change into past teams, I'd still enjoy the hell out of Gokaiger.
Solid cast as well, I enjoy them all equally and would welcome them back with open arms any time. Even Gai, although I enjoyed Junya Ikeda more in the last series of Garo. He plays the hyperactive "ascended fanboy" thing perfectly in Gokaiger though.
And yes, Luka is gorgeous.

I have just started to get into Garo from your reccomendation it is the 3rd series and so far it is enjoyable not completely enthralled yet but definely enjoying it.
I am only up to the 2nd episode but I am liking the running joke of SGI showing up only to get their ass handed to them.
And I marked for seeing Ikari Gai but then I saw tits and I was like HOLY SHIT GAI now you're a real pirate lol.

The whole series has been subbed, so it's out there if you know where to look. I've watched the first two episodes and have been meaning to grab the rest. I'm so wrapped up in Shinkenger right now that I's like to finish that first. Shougeki Gouraigan grabbed my attention due to some of the names involved, i.e. Keita Amemiya. The designs of things are suitably weird as expected from him, which is what got me with Garo. Opinion is divided on the show where I've been reading. The people who were into it seemed to embrace the wackiness of it. Some nods to sentai in there (it even has Black condor from Jetman playing a character in there). Plus, as I brought up earlier, it's Toshiki Inoue writing, and in some circles his name is still poison. This image amused me too: If those suits can withstand being in a hot-tub... that's some impressive craftsmanship. As for your comments on Garo, yeah, for a city that is seemingly peaceful (apart from the Horrors) and crime-free, they are fairly inept as law enforcement goes. It was pretty cool that they were in the mix though, as it made things different from previous seasons where it was mostly the Makai Knights & Priests fighting Horrors in secret.

Question? As Go-Busters had two themes, will both of them be in the tournament or will they be pitted against each other in a sort of a makeshift qualifying round?

Huh, I didn't know it had two themes.
In that case. when Go-Busters comes up, I'll pit both themes against each other, then pit the winner against another series.
