They should make Lex Luthor a woman. She can be a bald chick named Liz Luthor.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}The tattoo thing is a bit odd, but if he's mostly going to be wearing a suit it doesn't matter much. The rest of that sounds pretty cool.

Language warning Meant for comedy but it actually kinda helped sell me on his as Lex... (Especially during the Now You See Me quote) ... as long as he stays away from the Cera Stammering

Honestly sans the tats, that's not completely different from the book 'Lex Luthor-The Unauthorized biography'. In that, he arranges for his parents to die in a car accident so he can get their insurance money, and has ties to crime and such as a teen before building his business empire.
So it's not as if there isn't a template for that sort of version of the character.

Former BATMAN Michael Keaton Gives His Thoughts On Ben Affleck Translation "I want to make movies for Warner Brothers" I have no opinion yet, but I hope it's great.

Keaton is the last person to question suitability to play Batman anyway. Affleck wouldn't have been my choice but he definitely fits the part more than Keaton did.

How odd, they have the character of Lex down spot on.....and then make him a tatted up former street gang member.....
Making Lex a racist gangbanging skinhead seems an odd choice....

Not quite his argument, but at least a kernel of it I can agree with.

His point is basically that many people thought that Mr. Mom couldn't be Batman. Likewise, in the Bat-fandom, many people thought that a gay cowboy couldn't be the Joker. Today the issue is that many people think that the guy who was the bomb in Phantoms, yo, can't be Batman. We've come full circle.
He's not wrong given that Keaton and Affleck did win a lot of people over.

The best Batman ever is the last person to question it? Right Keaton was not the best Batman. Bale was better, Kilmer and Clooney were comparable. Alright, I'm going on the defense here. What is the one thing about Batman that makes his secret identity unique, a trait that applies to all Super Heroes? It's that he's someone you wouldn't expect. When Keaton was cast as Batman in 1988, people wondered "Why?" Because on the surface you see someone that was in Mr. Mom, Johnny Dangerously, and Beetlejuice. People saw those characters, they didn't see Batman because the idea that Keaton of all people would be Batman seemed ridiculous. It's the perfect cover. When he played Batman and Bruce Wayne, he played them as two people. Bruce is the goofy, mysterious, happy on the surface, miserable and broken on the inside millionaire while Batman and tough, dangerous, and an all-around badass. He even changed their voices well enough that its nearly two separate performances, the way Batman/Bruce Wayne should be. Its genius. Kilmer did fine as Batman, he was nearly identical to Keaton in that sense, but as Bruce Wayne, he was lost. He didn't come off the same way. Theres times in Batman Forever where it feels like he was trying to mimic Keaton but failing at it. Clooney didn't even try. He's a great Bruce Wayne, I'll admit he played that well. But he failed as Batman ultimately in so many ways. Bale did a fine job. I think he did bring a great level of acting to it, but I think Keaton pulled it off better. But overall in Batman lore... Adam West was the perfect Silver Age Batman Michael Keaton was the perfect Bronze Age Batman Christian Bale was the perfect modern Batman. I just wish the Golden Age adaptations were a bit better.

I can just imagine Warner's thought process here...
"It's going to be Batman Vs. Superman... With Wonder Woman and Cyborg... We might as throw Flash in there... Can't forget about Green Lantern... And for good measure, let's get a shot of Aquaman while we're at it.
Do we get that Avengers money now?"
