So I'm watching the Friday the 13th films for the first time. Decent stuff--thus far--My Wife and I are watching Part IV tomorrow.
Kevin Bacon has a relatively major role in the first Friday the 13th film. There is a thread on the WWE based on the 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon game. I was reading about Mr. Bacon on Wikipedia while reading about Friday the 13th. On the article I found out that you can find an actor's Kevin Bacon Number by typing in the actors name followed by "Bacon Number" into google.
For example, searching "Samuel L. Jackson Bacon Number" will give you the following result
Samuel L. Jackson's Bacon number is 2
Samuel L. Jackson and Liev Schreiber appeared in Jack.
Liev Schreiber and Kevin Bacon appeared in X-Men.
Nifty and random. Did anybody else know about this?

Liev Schreiber and Kevin Bacon don't appear in the same X-Men movie, so that does not work. The shortest connection between Samuel L. Jackson and Kevin Bacon is as follows: SLJ was in True Romance with Chris Penn Chris Penn was in Footloose with Kevin Bacon |

1 = Stand alone film
2,3,4 are a trilogy as they happen in the same week
4,5,6 are a trilogy as they all center on Tommy Jarvis
7 is Jason vs an X-man
8,9,X are trash.

There isn't a bad movie in the entire series. Jason Goes to Hell and Jason goes to totally not Vancouver say hello. 8 At least gives you the boxer vs Jason scene which was amazingly funny. And 9 has connections to both Evil Dead and Nightmare which......actually no those connections just make you want to watch those movies instead. Carry on. |
