he sometimes seemed as if he was the only rational adult on the show. He was the least neglectful/incompetent parent of the bunch. That's not exactly saying much, but still.... least neglectful? he keeps dropping his spoiled brat to stay with his brother/father all the time. if he gave that kid a smack every now and again she wouldn't be such a bitch.

All I know is Stu is Elliot Carlin, so you know Stu needs therapy.

Remember that one Mother's Day episode? Where all the babies were asking where Chuckie's mom was? And then we find out in the end that...Yeah. I almost got a little teary-eyed when I saw that episode. You know I have never seen the episode, and I must have watched every single episode about 10 times each over the years, I wouldn't be surprised if it was taken out of syndication or something.

That's it! This thread's getting too rambunctious. NO MORE BLOCKY AND OXWINKLE! but if we behave can we watch Lawrence Welk tonight? I loved how that episode snuck in an Estes Kefauver reference. Never seen him referenced on any other show Also...

It may have been one they didn't air much. I'd never seen it until today.

Having just rewatched it, why are people here dancing around Chuckie's mom? She died at childbirth, did she not? Or is there something that went over my head?

Or is there something that went over my head? no, the episode made it seem pretty clear that she died of an illness. And that was probably the best episode (along with the Hannukah) one of the re-launch

I could understand if Chaz were to invest some money into a business, but I also remember he was opposed to it whenever Drew called him about it. Of course, when Chaz was rich, he became a snobby asshole. hey Chaz may not know art, but he knows what he likes.

This isn't a legit joke from the show, is it? I would not be surprised, especially since Pops was probably joking, but realized she was clueless about the implications of what he said. EDIT: Apparently, no, the joke was not actually in the show, but it is a testament to the way the show got away with stuff that it was actually plausible. The episode was Grandpa's Bad Bug, and he is ill, not drunk or hung over.
