I'm a Patriots fan.
As for the IND/NE game. I could see the Colts winning for sure,Luck is a stud, it's the NFL and the Pats have failed in first playoff games before, but Indy gave up 44 points and 31 points in one half to Andy Reid coaching (choke artist), Alex Smith playing QB (Who I like btw, but isn't close to Tom Brady, oh and they didn't have Charles for the whole game and then Avery goes down later.
So with Bill and Tom having two weeks, It's just very hard for me to believe the Colts will actually win.

Chargers/Niners fan here.
After the last couple of weeks, I'd be pretty disappointed if the Chargers lose. This is the rubber match for this season, and given the run they're on, the way they handled the Bengals today, and the Chargers getting the victory over the Broncos not too long ago make this a Chargers surprise victory.
I won't say it's the Chargers in the Super Bowl just yet, but it is a possibility.

Fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Yes, still alive, thank you.
Also, part of me want both the Patriots and the Broncos ousted next week, just to see what happens. Granted, that would all but wrap it up for the NFC, but.

Add me as a Bears fan to the OP.
Out of the four games next weekend, I think the Pats/Colts game could be the most interesting. I believe Luck will take it to Brady, let's see which defense buckles. The Panthers may struggle a bit against the 49ers as well.

I just feel the need to say that this weekend was some of the best dramatic football I've seen in a long time. With the exception of the Chargers/Bengals Game which was entertaining for all the wrong reasons, every other game ended up being a nailbiter. Half the games were decided with 0 seconds on the clock!

They may change sometime before Saturday, but here are my picks for next weekend.
New Orleans @ Seattle
New Orleans proved all the doubters wrong and picked up their first ever away post-season victory against the red hot Eagles. Now they have to go into Seattle with the memory of their 34-7 loss from week 13. The Saints will be looking for revenge, but with as dominant as the Seahawks have been in Seattle, I can't foresee anything other than a Seattle win.
Seattle wins
Indianapolis @ New England
Indy went down early against Kansas City, but rather than give up and check out they fought until the clock read zero to get a huge win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Colts are coming into Foxborough to face a beat up New England team, and given the heart this team has I think this is where New England's 2013 season ends.
Indianapolis wins
San Francisco @ Carolina
San Francisco went into the frigid cold of Green Bay to beat the Packers, and part of what allowed them to win was Colin Kaepernick's ability to use his arm and his legs to walk all over Green Bay's terrible defense. However, the defense he'll face this week is in a league of their own, and with as explosive as Carolina's defense can be, I think the home team gets the win.
Carolina wins
San Diego @ Denver
The Broncos beat them in their backyard 28-20 and the Chargers beat the Broncos in Denver 27-20. This isn't a Broncos team that gets blown out by San Diego anymore, so I don't expect this to be a blowout in anybody's favor. I expect this one to be very hard fought and a complete nail-biter, but given that the Broncos come in fully healthy and with plenty of rest, there's no reason we shouldn't win this game.
Broncos win.

<--- New York Giants fan here.
Indianapolis at New England
As much as I want Luck and company to smash the Patriots, it's just not going to happen. The Colts look like contenders for a couple of games and then look like a 5-11 team soon after. Asking them to upset a frail, but solid Patriot team in Foxboro is a bit much. I see the Patriots winning by three scores or more against that super suspect Colts D.
New England Patriots 44, Indianapolis Colts 17.
San Diego at Denver
As a marquee member of S-Chrome's NFL Hit List (With other luminaries such as Desean Jackson, the Cowboys, Falcons, Patriots, Whiners, and Saints), I will always root for Philip Rivers' failure. You see, because he's a douchebag hick who makes stupid faces. Therefore, I hope the Broncos take the mother of shits on the Chargers and waltz to the epic confrontation against the Patriots. However, I think the Chargers will keep pace for about three quarters before Rivers, true to his anti-Eli Manning roots, does something ridiculous and costs them the game.
Denver Broncos 31, San Diego Chargers 23
New Orleans Saints at Seattle Seahawks
Hm. Outdoors? Probably raining? Drew Brees outdoors? Look for Sherman and Co. to have a field day. While it will be closer than the ass-whipping the Saints got a month back, I see Brees throwing at least 3 INT's and the Seahawks offense capitalizing off those turnovers.
Seattle Seahawks 27, New Orleans Saints 17
San Francisco 49ers at Carolina Panthers
21-17 is going to be the final score. Now, who's going to be the team that scores 21? No idea.

Picks for next week:
Broncos Colts Panthers Seahawks
I am a New York Football Giants fan. I also generally like the Packers and Steelers (except for Ben Roethlisberger), along with whatever team Peyton Manning is playing for (so, the Broncos), but I'm a Giants fan first.

I'm not going to make any predictions, because I'm often egregiously wrong, but I will say that in the Colts vs. Patriots game, the only outcome that would absolutely shock me would be Indianapolis winning in a runaway. All other scenarios are possible.
In Denver, I expect the Broncos to win easily, so Peyton Manning can have another week of telling those who know he can't play in cold weather to "shove that one where the sun don't shine," before losing in the AFC Championship Game, then having everyone under the sun blame the 52 other guys on the roster and the entire coaching staff before faulting Manning, as is usually the case.

First of all, I want to say that I think listing everyone's favorite teams is a great idea. I hope future sports threads follow suit.
As far as predictions go, mine go a little like this...
Indy vs. New England: To me, this is the hardest one to pick. My head is telling me NE, but after watching Indy come back from what was looking like a blowout loss, I think Indy's fired up/has the momentum. So I guess I'll take Indy with the upset. Colts: 31-24
San Diego vs. Denver: My pick for the Super Bowl is still Broncos/Seahawks. Simply put, I think Denver rolls in this game. Broncos: 42-20
New Orleans vs. Seattle: OMG DREW BREES IS PLAYING OUTDOORS AGAIN!? Indoors or outdoors, I don't think it would matter much. I think the Seattle defense will shut down Drew Brees and move on in their quest to the Super Bowl. Seahawks: 31-17
Carolina vs. San Francisco: I have to admit, watching that SF offense yesterday made me a bit nervous. Then I realized that Carolina's defense is definitely superior to Green Bay. Win or lose, I'll be shocked if SF scores a ton of points. Carolina also has a lot of players returning, namely Steve Smith. What could possibly hurt Carolina is the horrible curse that infects their team. I believe it's called 'Mike Shula'. If he lets the players lose and play like they're capable of, I think Carolina wins. If not, Carolina's defense is going to have to win this one for the team. Panthers: 21-17

I'm really surprised at all the Carolina picks. The Panthers are a damn good team no question about it, but this 49er team is a different beast than the team they beat earlier in the year. We didn't have Crabtree and Vernon got knocked out of the game early, 10 points isn't gonna win this game for Carolina this go around.
I think playoff experience is going to be what wins this game for the 49ers. Cam is playing great right now, but I don't trust him against our defense when it matters the most.

We don't trust Kaepernick against the Panthers defense....even with Crabtree back. Plus, this is at Carolina where Panthers beat the Niners in San Francisco. Carolina is just too damn hot right now. Plus you barely beat an inferior Packers defense.

I believe in the 49ers and I 100% believe in Kaepernick, I just think that the Panthers will edge you guys out slightly if only because of that defense. Playoff experience is important, but Green Bay has enough of it and they lost to you guys so it's definitely not everything. Whoever wins it's going to be a great game, but I'll take a Panthers win with seconds to go. Give me 24-21.

I think San Francisco is going to win that game next week. So I'm not even picking against them, but it's not a stretch by any means that they could lose.
Green Bay's defense isn't just bad, but it's literally the last defense in the NFL that should be trying to defend the 49ers. The Niners are built to tear it apart, and in the previous meetings it did. Green Bay nearly won that game yesterday and Kaepernick took some chances that a better defense will shut down. That final run to get the Niners in to FG range would have been stopped but the spy completely blew his assignment. He was right there to tackle Kaepernick and just totally failed. Carolina isn't failing on that spot. The interception that was dropped that would have given GB the ball back isn't getting missed by Carolina. The sack they missed on third down isn't a sack Carolina is missing.
If Kaepernick plays like he did yesterday and Carolina is playing the way they have most of the season, he will lose the game for the Niners.
Again, I think the Niners will win. They're my pick, at least as of today. But they shouldn't be heavy favorites, or even necessarily favorites at all.

I think the SF-Carolina game is going to be a close one and I can see Frisco winning easily, too. I just think Carolina's going to pull it out.
