let's start blaming things before we see the match
I blame the ring.

Who has Ryback injured before? And no one's saying blame Ziggler. Just that there is no point in jumping to conclusions when you don't even have the full story. Cena had an injury in a match against Ryback, not to mention Punk and Bryan (two nearly with nearly impeccable injury history) were both nearly injured in horribly botched spots. I'm not saying anyone is at blame, I just think the fact that Ziggler has "throwing himself against walls, etc." for years with very little injury yet seems to be getting a lot heat for people here for being hurt is absurd. The dude has done a lot worse to himself than a clothesline bump and was just fine but the known walking botch machine that we call Ryback is getting a pass from the same people. As said, the match hasn't happened yet so we can't say who's to blame but it seems way more likely that the meathead that everyone can see works stiffly is the cause of the (accidental) injury that seems to be the direct result of getting nailed in the head than the guy that's pretty much perfected over the top bumping. Let's not forget, the first concussion that people keep citing was the result of Swagger hauling off and kicking him the face, not falling down dramatically. Cena's never been injured by Ryback. And what's nearly injured? There was one table spot that Ryback botched on Bryan but Bryan was fine. If one botch that doesn't even injure someone means that someone's dangerous in the ring, then everyone on the roster's guilty of this. And I don't even know how he almost injured Punk. There was that one table spot against him that led to Punk taking time off for his knee, but that was kayfabe. And you're saying that you're not blaming anyone, but then proceed to basically say that Ryback's reckless clothesline is the direct cause of the injury. If you can't even get your own story straight, how am I suppose to?

Maybe it wasn't Rybacks fault...

All I know is Ryback was called out on his carelessness by HHH. I doubt HHH is the type to overreact about anything.

Regardless of why it happened--it's been happening a lot over the past year or so, if I recall correctly. Ziggler needs to hang it up if this keeps being a trend--for his own good. Ultimately, of course, it's up to him.

It sucks that this continual issue could threaten his career. The only way he can turn this into a positive is if he took a page out of HBK's book and incorporate it into a storyline like Shawn did during his first feud with Owen Hart.

Sometimes freak concussions can happen, let's not forget Ted Dibiase suffering one from a slap of all things.

One things for certain it's still not Snitsky's fault.

It makes sense that Ryback is reckless, because why else would they completely depush him and make him look stupid the way they did...all of 2013? It's as good a reason as any, and where there's newz there's fire, right?

Or it could be something Sean Carless said like a couple of months ago that Ryback had a huge ego backstage which anger the higher-ups.

Having a huge ego and being careless in the ring could easily be related traits as well. "Who cares about this guy? I'm gonna knock his f***in' head off, I'm THE BIG GUY!" or "Pshh, it's not like I'm gonna get in trouble! I'm freakin' Ryback, I'm the future of this company!" Newz is one thing, but if the same thing gets reported over and over and over and we see a substantial depush going on, it's probably true. It's just like TNA reportedly losing tons of money taking Impact on the road, lo and behold the Budget Cutter starts runnin' wild and they try to go back to the Impact Zone. Because it was true.

The take-away for me is that it seems far more common to be injured by something you've done/received hundreds, if not thousands of times, that one time goes awry (someone hits you harder than you anticipated, you land the wrong way, etc.) than it is the big wild and crazy spots which involve lots of preparation to make sure the spot is safe.

I've heard that off-and-on from quite a few wrestlers throughout the years. It's the relatively simple thing you've done millions of times without even thinking that might come back to bite you. I've heard another part could just be that some people are easier to concuss than others due to a few factors. I'd say Ziggler might be one of those people, but...eh. I don't think so, but it's not like I know for sure anyway. I wish this was something that just happened that wasn't anyone's fault as opposed to something that happened with the likely possibility Ryback might be an oaf.
