No, he doesn't kill. But if your death is a byproduct of foiling your evil scheme then he's cool with that (see Batman Begins).

Michael Keaton's Batman did, and that's why he's awesome.

While giving the mook a sinister grin when the mook realised where the bomb was. Seriously, Keaton's Batman was definitely screwed up in the head.

Didn't Keatons batman kill more people than he saved? Pretty much, yeah. Clooney got the no killing part down, but that's about it. Val Kilmer... he was probably the closest out of the original cinematic Batmen, wasn't he?

At the very least he was guilty of manslaughter.

Didn't Keatons batman kill more people than he saved? No He saved hundreds of thousands from being poisoned by the Joker, and prevented the Penguin from killing loads of children, hitting Gotham with rockets, and becoming mayor, which probably would have led to even more deaths. He killed a few mooks, that's all.

Batman doesn't kill people as a rule. In the original comics he did, but he's evolved far, far beyond that now to where it's a defining character trait. When he does kill people, it's mostly bad writing.

As long as he does not use a gun I think he's fine.....as fine as a grown man dressed as a bat administering Vigilante justice can be.

He should use a Batgun. It would make things easier.
In the Tim Burton movies, the Batmobile had two machine guns on it, and the Batwing had machine guns, rockets, and probably phasers too.
