Books, books, books...all save one at a discount
And God Said "Play Ball": Amusing And Thought-Provoking Parallels Between The Bible And Baseball (Gary Graf) Big Hair And Plastic Grass: A Funky Ride Through Baseball And America In The Swinging '70s (Dan Epstein) Stars And Strikes: Baseball And America In The Bicentennial Summer Of '76 (Dan Epstein's newest) Mad Dogs, Midgets and Screwjobs: The Untold Story Of How Montreal Shaped The World Of Wrestling (Pat Laprade and Bertrand Hebert) Some Gluten-Free Cookbook my wife wanted. (She made the chicken-fried steak out of it and it was just like the ones they make at Texas Corral, yummo!)
And three on order right now:
Undisputed (Chris Jericho). I had only borrowed this from the library last year. When the release date gets closer, I'll probably pre-order his next one The Best In The World: At What I Have No Idea (tentative title). Countdown To Lockdown (Mick Foley). Only $4. Worth a look. Veeck As In Wreck (Bill Veeck & Ed Linn). My copy is from the '70s, the epilogue is slowly falling away. The post-epilogue is written by his son Mike, after Bill passed away.

Well, the wife and I just came back from a trip, so:
- 24 boxes of generic macaroni and cheese, all different - 11 bags/jars of regional, off-brand and/or generic kernel popcorn - 7 packs of taco seasoning - 6 packs of regional hot dogs, including "Orioles dogs" and a North Carolina brand called "Steven's" that's sold in a plastic bag - 5 taco dinner kits - 4 boxes of taco shells - 4 jars/cans of regional/generic liquid cheese - 4 12 packs of generic cola - 3 12 packs of Pepsi from Pittsburgh (yes, it tastes completely different) - 2 12 packs of regional ginger ale (Canada Dry green tea and Nothern Neck pale dry) - 2 2 liter bottles of regional pop (Pennsylvania Dutch Birch beer and Dr. Wham) - 2 blocks of muenster cheese - 2 bags of regional hard pretzels - 2 meltaway eggs - 2 12 packs of generic ginger ale - A 12 pack of generic root beer - A 12 pack of generic cream soda - A 6 pack of Faygo Redpop in glass bottles - A pound of brick cheese - A pound of Isley's "chipped-chopped" ham - A pack of fast food style baskets - A wine saver from the "it fell off the back of a truck" store by my parents' house - A milk frother from said store - A milk carton of Flavacol (for the popcorn) - A pack of Eat 'n Park Smiley cookies (for the wife) - A tube of pink hair dye (for me) - Something called "Mun-chee cheese." It tastes like solidified cream cheese
We also bought a Fire TV. It's a lot nicer than we expected. It also runs Android apps.

I finally decided to get some replacement headphones since the ones I use at home are beat up as hell and the right side no longer works. I got the same kind as the ones I have now. They're Sony MDR7506 Professional Large Diaphragm Headphones. They really beat the shit out of Beats and Skullcandy. I also bought a whole mess of food at Walmart

this week I got South Park: the Stick of Truth on the PSN flash sale. already beat it. was a lot of fun and very funny. a little on the short side but since I got it for like 20$ off I don't mind.
also got the last volume of the New 52 Stormwatch trade. not sure where DC was going with it when it got cancelled but I enjoyed what Starlin was doing.

One of the rival video stores down the road had a closing down sale so I brought the following on the cheep.
- The Saboteur - Saints Row IV - Gears of War 3 - Assassin's Creed,1,2,3
Also I couldn't help but laugh at how their porn section was cleaned out in the span of only 2 hours by two men... the horny bastards.
