A new (to me) guitar (Apologies for the awful pic): A Fender Jaguar. Japanese reissue from 1997. At various times over the years I'd want one like this. The shop I used to get my stuff from would have one hanging on the wall. By the time I'd have scraped together enough money to afford one, it would be gone. Japanese Fender stuff is getting harder to find, so when I saw this for sale online, I couldn't pass it up. A few quirks, but they're things common to these guitars. Sounds cool.

Plush talking Minion #4 for my sister-in-law's Minion collection Pajama pants Shirts Controller charging cord for my PS4 (old one started going wonky) Cottage cheese (the original reason for the trip) That damn Cupcake plush!
Seriously, the Cupcake was still there like it was waiting for me, so now it's chilling on my computer desk with my assorted tchotchkes and plush menagerie.

Main reason we went out: milk, AAA batteries, cat food, tea bags.
Wife wanted to go to Best Buy. Ended up getting the batteries and some surround-sound speakers for her PC.
This new music/games/book store just opened a month ago next door. So we went in to check it out. We're looking around (I'm going through Trisha Yearwood CDs because we both like her) and the Mrs. tells me, "There's vinyl behind you." I spun around, went right to the "G" cube. First album in the front, Amy Grant "Unguarded (W cover)" (1985)! I'm like Bart stealing a Danish from Kent Brockman...YOINK! File through the rest, found Amy's "Straight Ahead" (1984) and a different "Unguarded" ("O" cover). (Myrrh/A&M did a thing for Unguarded where there were 4 different covers, labeled by letters on the spine: "W-O-R-D". I bought the W and O editions. So now I need the other 2, although on the cassette I own, it's the "D edition", which is the common one now.) I spent $20.
[And, yes, we did get the stuff we needed on the way home.]

I'm doing a Topps Baseball year by year set from by birth year (1985) on and keeping the boxes to eventually display.
Picked up three boxes off of Ebay this morning: 1991 Topps (Did this one but it was part of the lot and I need half the set still. Chipper rookie and vintage cards possible.) 1992 Topps (Manny Ramirez rookie possible.) 1993 Topps Series 2 (Jim Edmonds rookie possible.)
