Just a note, cover dates on comics, especially back then, were not the month they came out. They were post-dated by several months (usually 2-4). The dates were basically notes for vendors telling them when return dates for unsold bulk could be returned. So be sure to change the settings from "cover date" to "on sale in"

There were comics about Vietnam being made in the late 80s?

My favorite volume of Sandman came out in paperback form that month so that's pretty sweet. Appearantly also a Hellblazer story called "The Pub Where I Was Born" which I don't remember at all. Which is weird because the rest of Ennis' Hellblazer run was f***ing great and super memorable.

There were comics about Vietnam being made in the late 80s? This was around the time that a ton of Vietnam-related films were coming out, everything from serious dramas like Platoon to mindless action films like Missing in Action. Heck, the GI Joe CARTOON made Mainframe a Nam vet (while the comic had stalker, storm shadow, and snake eyes meet in vietnam before joining GI Joe).

My favorite volume of Sandman came out in paperback form that month so that's pretty sweet. Which one was that? The first issue of the Wolverine limited series where he goes to Japan was on sale in Sept 1982. I knew that because I had the tpb but that's neat.
