Japanese episode 14 of Season 2 today, "Applejack's Run-Away"...
They actually referred to Derpy by name in the dub! Got a real cute voice for her too (although the footage was the "sanitized" footage). Cherry Jubilee also got a decent voice that suited the character fine.
I don't think Dodge Junction was ever referred to by name here. Pinkie's convo with Applejack remained the same as it was in the original although the "beans" joke was changed to a similar one with himitsu "secret" and the words that rhyme with that.
I don't know why but I liked that they changed the promise AJ makes to "After she eats breakfast..." instead of "at breakfast". Makes it easier for Japanese AJ to get out.
Cuts I noticed:
1. After Pinkie cries "Speech! Speech! Speech!", we cut immediately to AJ making the speech. The short interlude with AJ saying that she is not one for speeches and Pinkie saying "No speech then. OK!" got cut.
2. The whole visit to Canterlot was cut and I mean, all of it. After the commercial break, we go immediately to the mane cast being on the train to Dodge Junction (only in the dialogue is it said that this is the place AJ went to after the rodeo).
