Things might be starting to cool down now that Bryan's still seen as important and getting a title shot in the Elimination Chamber. F***dammit, it's like we're all marks all over again.
And theories are starting to pop up that this was all intentional, right back to SummerSlam, to specifically get this type of real reaction. The issue being that this doesn't yet translate to "I want to pay money to see what happens next"... more like "I'll keep my money because f*** you for burying my guy".

not to start anything, but I think WWE knows just how popular Bryan is and are looking for the perfect place to pull the trigger. Chamber is a heck of a tease, putting him in the chamber, so we'll see.

Like I mentioned in another thread... it's not like WM plans have never changed this close to it, even in regards to Royal Rumble winners. At this point in time of 1997, the WrestleMania title match was Shawn Michaels defending against Steve Austin. Flash forward a couple of months and it's Sycho Sid v The Undertaker for the title, Austin fighting Bret Hart in a submission match and Michaels off the card all together because he lost his smile. I have no idea what the hell could happen from here, and it's awesome and terrifying at the same time. |
