Bon Bon vs. Sweetie Belle (first half: 5:1)
Both teams started off bad into the second half with humiliating losses. Will one of them redeem themselves in today's game?
Bon Bon: I decided to up the ante for today's game. If they succeed with flying colours, I will give them some samples of my sugary caramel bomb deluxe; a treat I give not to anypony.
Sweetie Belle: I need to do something, I don't want to stay in the drop-zone. Perhaps I can win against somepony in the same situation as me...
Pinkie Pie vs. Rarity (first half: 1:0)
Again two teams who started with losses into the second half. While Pinkie hopes to get back in track up top, Rarity wants to get some distance from the drop zone.
Pinkie Pie: Don't worry, my pretties, I gave my players a teeny tiny bit less sugar than last week. So they should be good to win again! And when they do, its party time!
Rarity: To be honest, almost winning against Twilight has left me in a very pleasent mood. It showed that I can do it with the big teams. Thus, I am certain to give Pinkie a run for her money.
Lyra vs. Rainbow Dash (first half: 0:4)
Lyra had a very good start while Rainbow suffered a loss. Today both teams want to show why they belong in the upper tier of the rankings.
Lyra: My humans have maintained their pretty good form from last week. Therefore, I am sure that we can beat Rainbow Dash and send her back home!
Rainbow Dash: Alright, after those lazy bums had some 23-hour training sessions the last week, they should be in good form to not disappoint me again. Or else...
Princess Celestia vs. Princess Cadance (first half: 0:1)
Whereas Princess Celestia has had a very good streak those past few games, Princess Cadance's team struggles currently and hopes to turn it around against her aunt.
Princess Celestia: I see that my niece has troubles but gifts will not help her. She has to beat me on her own. But I will not be making this easy for her.
Princess Cadance: I would not want it any other way, auntie. My lovely team has to win by their own accord and I am sure they can do it. I know they can.
Applejack vs. Carrot Top (first half: 2:1)
Both teams came out with victories in the second half, with the win especially important for Carrot Top who regained confidence in her vegetarian diet plan.
Applejack: Glad ta see Carrot bein' on the mend, but still ah gotta need dat win as well. So no hard feelings, sugahcube.
Carrot Top: I guess today is the day where we'll know if last week was just a fluke or if my vegetarian diet plan will harbor fruits. We'll see, though I am more confident than ever now.
Apple Bloom vs. Octavia (first half: 0:3)
Apple Bloom won, Octavia lost on the first day back. Can Apple Bloom get some more distance from the drop zone or will Octavia regain a foothold in the top-ranked teams?
Apple Bloom: Ah have listened ta some records bah Ms. Octavia recently. Sounded good, but dat doesn' stop me from winnin' against her today.
Octavia: I see I still have some influence over the younger generations. But still, I will not stray from trying to win today's game as well.
