If he plans on wrestling, I hope he is currently starting a strict diet and workout routine. If he does show up, I will mark out in a huge way. Still, it seems like Mania is pretty set and I don't know what they would do with him.

I say have Sting, Sheamus and Mysterio team up to take on the Shield at Mania (with The Shield breaking up). Then build to Sting vs. Taker at Extreme Rules or the following PPV to leave the ending in doubt (because we know Sting's not ending the streak).

I want this so badly to be true. I don't even care about a match with taker though I know those two could put on a great match still. Possibilities are truly endless with the hall of fame, nxt development, DVDs, etc.

I think this reference is RIGHT in Vince's current timeframe. To be honest the wrestler Sting isn't much more relevant today than Sting & Police. The wrestler Sting isn't anywhere near as relevant in the mainstream as Sting & The Police. A few years ago they did have one of the highest grossing tours of all time. Sign with WWE, Sting. The career retrospective, the Mania payday (and possibly SummerSlam payday against Cena), the shirts, and action figures would all make more than enough money.

Yeah, no thank you.
I love Sting, but I never felt the need to see him in WWE.
Now Vince can gloat that WCW champion has now worked for him. I can't wait for that stat to be brough up for the next 15 years.

Although Sting's debut in the WWE should have happened many years ago, I would mark out like a little kid if I ever saw him on WWE TV. The thought of Sting clearing the ring of The Shield and The Authority just sounds awesome to me.

If he does not debut until the night after Raw, I want some Comedy sketch with Santino talking to Dusty or Flair and mid conversation pause, look down and pick up a scorpion and remark that he has never seen one of those before.

We all know this just ends up with him returning triumphantly to TNA AGAIN. Seriously, this happens every year. One year, TNA even ripped off the Undertaker vignette. Even if he is in the WWE, is it really in his best interest? He's not a young man anymore

It's totally in his best interest, unless he despises money in all its forms. I say have Sting, Sheamus and Mysterio team up... "The ghostly-faced warrior runs to the ring!" "And Sting's here, too!"

Even if he is in the WWE, is it really in his best interest? He's not a young man anymore This is really my only problem with it. At 54 years old, Sting's got 6 years on Undertaker and 9 years on Triple H. The dream match really isn't much of a dream when it's two broken down old men in the ring. But who knows? If they can get him with a killer diet and workout regimen and whip him up into shape where he doesn't have to wear a t shirt in the ring, it might be good to see him show up for a farewell tour in WWE.

I still think that vignette was originally intended for Sting. I think they made it for Sting before he had even signed a contract with the plan being if negotiations fell through (which they did) they could backtrack and make it be for The Undertaker all along. If you look at the Starrcade 97 commercial with Sting you can see why I think that

Doesn't shock me Sting is ready. His 2 sons are both in college and his daughter is in high school. He got to watch his kids grow up. WWE has always been highly complimentary of Sting whenever they talk about him in videos, now it's time for him to have his career celebrated.
If you go to Sting's website, all it says is his famous last line before he stopped talking/the last Nitro.
"The only thing for sure about Sting, is nothing's for sure..."
