Nobody knows exactly what he said or how he said it. He probably made a stupid ass sarcastic remark and the TSA agent went on a powertrip and made an example out of him. According to a statement from the LAPD, Smith made a comment "indicating that he was in possession of a bomb before proceeding towards the gate area." He said "bomb" at an airport. Not only that, he indicated that he had a bomb. At an airport. There's no "power trip" by a TSA agent to be found here. You don't indicate that you have a bomb, hell, you don't say the word "bomb" at an airport, and if you are stupid enough to do so, you deserve to get arrested, end of discussion. People at airports have no time for "Hey, I was just joking around about the bomb. LOL!" The moment that the word "bomb" comes out of your mouth at an airport, you deserve to be arrested. And given Aldon Smith's history with alcohol and guns, he doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt from anybody. The guy has a clear history of being a complete horse's ass, and this is just another clip to add to the file. Thanks for the more detailed report. I agree with everything you just said. As a 49er fan I don't want this headcase on the team next year, but as a realist I don't see the front office severing ties just yet. The franchise right now is in a win at all costs mindset and quite frankly I don't blame Jed York and management for feeling that way.

Sidney Rice decides to remain with the Seahawks and signs a 1 year deal. Damn. Was really hoping Philly would take a flyer on Rice. I think he would have been a great pick-up at a bottom dollar price.

The Cowboys are showing some interest in Georgia's Aaron Murray, reports ESPN.com. Romo has 3 to 4 years left at best and Weeden is not a long term guy so looking into the future is great idea but I cannot see them carrying 3 high profile QBs this season.

As much as I like to watch football, I couldn't imagine going to sit through an actual draft. It's even ridiculous to watch the draft for me.
