An interesting theory is developing about USUM's storyline. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}The Japanese info dump showcased some major story differences from the original, most notably Lusamine.
There's a cut scene of her struggling to move & is warning people about "the monster". While its possible she's still an antagonist, she might take Guzma's place as the red herring (don't worry; he's back, too), and its the Ultra Recon Squad that are the true villains. Likely, she struck a deal to get Nebby back, but unlike the original, she's double crossed and essentially left for dead.
If true, this is some deep shit to attempt murder in the game. Yes, I know its as common as breathing in the Adventure manga, but its one thing for a loser like Lysandre to want genocide, yet to have people explicitly put individuals in the crosshairs is another. {Spoiler} It's a kid game, only Lysandre died and even that was vague. Maybe Cyrus too, I didn't play diamond, pearl, or platinum. I could be wrong, but they won't kill off Lusamine.

{Spoiler}The Ultra Beasts story mentioned death.
I don't think they'll actually kill her, but an attempted murder is possible.

A look at Lunala and Solgaleo's new Z-Moves. Also new features unlocked with the Rotomdex, including the ability to use Z-Moves more than once per battle.

An English version of the Japanese video that started the rumors about the Delta Recon Squad.

I'm really hoping Gamefreak is hiding a really big secret for these games. Emerald, B2/W2 are praised very highly for the last games of their respective generations. Since these are the last main line Pokemon games on the 3DS we will need them to go all out on everything.

So, I've been replaying Omega Ruby since my plans to restart in SoulSilver fell through (I can't find my DS charger, so I couldn't transfer my team to Platinum). The first time, I went with EZ Mode - sorry, Torchic - and decided to try something new. So I chose Mudkip.
That was a week ago. I'm currently at Sootopolis, before fighting Primal Groudon, and I'm just now reaching the point where everything is around the same level as me (Thanks, EXP Share!). My only issue thus far has been figuring out my team for the E4.
At the moment, my team is...
-Swampert, Lvl 54 -Nuzleaf, Lvl 51 -Gallade, Lvl 49 (Yes, I did the Super Training just to get the stone. I also didn't know Super Training was a thing.) -Manetric, Lvl 49 -Ninetales, Lvl 43ish -Marill, my current HM Mule.
I used to have a Swellow (Lvl 49), but I didn't realize it was bloody Modest until... well, until it came time to decide who got the bench for Marill/Tropius. I'm definitely considering switching my Nuzleaf for another Grass type since I haven't been able to fumble my way into getting a Leaf Stone through Super Training. I might also trade Manetric in for a Magnezone, or work on getting an Aggron leveled. That's not even factoring in what becomes available once I get my eighth badge...
Suggestions? I'd ask for trades, but honestly, I don't wanna put effort into trying to remember my WiFi code...

There's a Leaf Stone on Route 119 near the location where you battled Brendan/May. You just gotta use Surf. I've memorized this for years because on most of my Hoenn playthroughs I've used Vileplume.

I got so many Hard Stones from Venusaur Balloon, I was starting to worry my Gallade had kidney problems. But hey, I got a Shiftry! Yay.

I really miss the days where when you needed an evolution stone you could just fly to Celadon and buy it.

It's the worst in the Johto games. Years back in HeartGold I couldn't evolve my Growlithe until after I beat the Elite Four.

So, update.
Caught Primal Groudon. It chewed on my Gallade, then played a fun game of "chew on Mega Swampert" in between Groudon's naps. Finally caught him around 40% health (yay Bullzone not critting!) after 10 Ultra Balls. Fun fact, two of my next three Ultra Ball throws were Crit Catches. I was not amused. One of them was a Ditto I caught while exploring a Mirage Cave, which made me realize I didn't have the National Pokedex. I honestly didn't know you could get the National Dex before fighting Wallace. (How I beat it the first time with Karate Chicken is a mystery.) I did go beat Wallace right after that, which made me feel bad, because it wasn't even fair to him. Currently sitting in the Shoal Cave, since it's High Tide and the battery is glaring at me.
...my wifi security code is just the bloody password, right? -_-;

I wasn't going to but I pre-ordered Ultra Moon today.
I thought the story at least seemed interesting enough and the fact that I could potentially get some of the monsters I missed in regular Sun made me think 'Why not?'

I know this is mainly for the games but when i was farting around on amazon I was ecstaticto see UK is getting a Blu Ray release of the 1st series.
About time, the only thing I remember ever getting released were the 3 episode videos.

Still not at all sold on USUM myself, in large part because when I played Sun (after having gone through moon), the nonstop cutscenes every two steps just made it an agonizing chore to get through, but will say if nothing else this has my attention - {Spoiler}

Okay, I've caught 4 Eevee so far. How many bloody evolutions does it have again? 7, right?

Alright, double post but I don't care.
So, I just got Pokemon X tonight (I'm gonna pick up Gen 7 with US/UM, and I missed Gen 5 entirely), and I've decided to try and catalog my misadventures in a game I know nothing about.
That means figuring out my starter. So... Grass, Fire, or Water; who sucks the least?

X and Y's so easy that in-game it really doesn't matter which you picked, though on a meta level the best of them is easily Greninja which is arguably the best starter gameplay-wise period, though that's with its hidden ability. And it's kind of hard to recommend Greninja since it's a personal least favorite.
