It's Monday again, and that means it's RAW night. This week it comes to you live from Los Angeles, and with only two weeks until Elimination Chamber, things are getting hostile in, out and all around the ring. And for some reason, Betty White's going to be on. You wouldn't boo a harmless old lady, would you?
Tonight, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton continues his series against his fellow Elimination Chamber combatants by taking on his longest of long-time rivals in John Cena. Try not to get too excited about that, please. Orton is 1-1 so far, having lost to Daniel Bryan last week on RAW and beaten the recently returned Christian on SmackDown, yet his insecurities about his standing with The Authority are still plaguing him mercilessly. Will another win over Cena help alleviate that pressure?
Speaking of Bryan, twice in the last week was he chokeslammed post-match by his former Team Hell No cuddle buddy Kane, seemingly having taken offense at Bryan making a preemptive strike during his match with Orton. Is that all it is, or is the Director Of Operations out to do what's "best for business"? Either way, there might be hell to pay in The City Of Angels.
With their much-anticipated battle looming large, both The Shield and The Wyatt Family look for all-important momentum... yet one of them is also looking for a bit more stability and unity. Friction between Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns has been growing steadily for weeks, with Seth Rollins desperately trying to hold things together. Can Bray Wyatt help continue to drive the wedge between them?
On the other hand, Batista v Del Rio... still a thing, apparently.
Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston isn't doing much of note... but hey, he's got a new shirt and his mentor Mark Henry is coming back tonight, so that's more than the two guys above have got.
Tag Team Champions The New Age Outlaws might finally be done with The Rhodes Brothers, and could be looking right down the barrel at a place on the WrestleMania card that looked extremely unlikely a couple of months ago. Who will step up and take their shot next? That is... if they're not about to start fighting their partner first. Looking at YOU, Real Americans.
Divas Champion AJ Lee might be needing a new challenger as well, with a cloud now over Naomi's status thanks to a facial injury at the hands (or knees) of Aksana last week. Will anyone try their luck?
All that, and an elderly woman gets used as a heat shield, TONIGHT on RAW!
