Seth Rollins will hold the world championship at some point in his career.

This is one of few teams where I actually see all of them going on to be stars. I more or less know what I'll be getting out of Reigns and Ambrose, but the future of Rollins intrigues me more.

Rollins reminds me a bit of Cody Rhodes during the Legacy break up angle. I remember everyone thinking that Ted DiBiase was going to be a big breakout star and turn face to wrestle Orton at Wrestlemania. They ended up with a triple threat at mania instead which I can see them doing this time with the Shield for the US title

Given every single thing said about each member of the Shield on and off camera I'm pretty sure all 3 will be huge stars. Reigns obviously, it's noticeable now. They're pushing him to be a major player. Ambrose is a heel, he's a great heel, and that is something the WWE is missing. It is hard to get a great heel so once Ambrose breaks out and can finally be him without any interruptions. He will be fine. Rollins is an amazing wrestler and he's improved greatly on the mic. That was his real weakness and now we see that he's improved. He will do well than people think he will.
See people talk a lot about Rollins being in the "Kofi" spot but it is obvious that Rollins is a lot more comfortable than Kofi is on the mic. Maybe it is because he is a heel but needless to say he is fine. Ring skills as well, he's one of the best wrestlers they have and he also has a unique look. He was trusted to go in with Punk at the beginning of the Rumble and he even had a great match with Cena a few weeks ago on SD. The man is going places. He is too good of a wrestler to be left in the midcard and he can play everything. He can play a heel, he can play a face, he can play a lackey and I'm sure if the time comes he can play a potential leader. He's just great all-around. Out of everyone in NXT (even Reigns) they gave the guy the NXT title first so yeah, he's a big deal.
Ambrose, I've said it once and I'll say it again, is underutilized. Out of all the members of the Shield, he is the one who will shine the brightest if you tell him to go solo and let him do what he wants. Ambrose's character is designed to be a loner compared to being a member of a group. He is playing the "crazy guy in the Shield" but that isn't great for him. He's telling the story of "The Shield" rather than of "Dean Ambrose". Once he can tell his own story and do things his way rather than tell the focus of the group then we will see more of what he can do. I said when they debuted and to no surprise it still holds true. None of them can really show what they can truly do much on their own. The closest one who can is Reigns who is being introduced as this big bad powerhouse. Rollins is the middleman in-between Ambrose/Reigns while also being the best wrestler in the group. Ambrose is the crazy guy who still has his title and cheating to keep it. In a way Ambrose is a crazy weaker version of Reign of Terror Triple H. Only difference is Triple H was built up as being a competitor rather than being weak like Ambrose.
Right now we're slowly but surely seeing the Shield evolve their individual characters. Once they break up they all will flourish.

Anything Seth Rollins related turns into "Dean Ambrose isn't that good you guys." It's like they're N*Sync and the Backstreet Boys....respectively.
