I think a large part of Sable's appeal was puberty. She had the right look at the right time for a lot of the audience since she was the closest thing to porn. If your relatives didn't have "hidden tapes" and you didn't have access to Real Sex, Hot Springs Hotel or insert movie with bikini in the title or carnal in the description, she pushed all the right hormone buttons for you. This was probably my biggest reasoning for loving her. I was 12 when she became huge. My family didn't own a computer and we didn't subscribe to HBO or Cinemax, but I could still depend on Sable to show up in a barely-there outfit when Monday night came around. Plus I liked watching her beat up Marc Mero. That said, Jackie should have won that Bikini contest. |
