If your into bad wrestling PPVs, Judgment Day and Great American bash 2004. JD '04 is worth watching if you have a lust for bloodshed. Possibly the only MA-rated PPV on the Network? Starcade 85 also is MA-rated. And for good reason I might add.

I watched the first three RAWs earlier this morning... I'd say watch that if you want to appreciate the current commentary team... because it could be much... much worse. I noticed that as well. Rob Barlett makes Alex Riley look like JR. Though the best part of it was on Raw 3 when Heenan pretty much sat there and insulted him constantly.

I know this one gets a lot of crap, but I've always liked it.

Starcade 96 is awesome just for the Ultimo/Malenko and Mysterio/Liger matches Came to post pretty much exactly this. DDP vs Johnny B Badd at Halloween Havoc 95 is a great match also.

I'm starting with the NWO debut on nitro and going from there. I'll stop after finger poke of doom or after starcade 1997 then watch raw from the start. Maybe smack down starting at brand split since I didn't watch it. Ok had watching RAW 1993 right now... but dont have the option to go forward yet. Can't find Nitro or a way to sort through PPV to find WCW PPVs.

I watched that last night! It's great since that Flair/Steamboat match isn't on as many DVDs as the others. I'm going to watch all the 80s NWA/WCW PPVs for Dusty, Flair and other great stars. I'm going to also get through some of the early 90s WCW PPVs for guys like Sting, Vader, Cactus Jack, Heyman and some others.

Where it all started; the first WrestleMania. (Funny thing about the interviews. Gene's with one guy, says his piece and leaves. Soon as the guy is out of camera range, his opponent walks in and says his part. Just something I found really weird. You'd figure if two guys who hate each other are within arm's length of one another, they'd want to tear each other's head off. But, that was for the undercard. The top guys had interviews from their dressing rooms.)
And IYH: Canadian Stampede. Wow, when the WWF knew how to put a show together. Talk about 2 hours of loaded action! No wonder people love this show.
If you like bad PPVs, New Blood Rising was a mess. Because it "got it like that".

Currently watching Bash at the Beach 1994 just because it reminds me as a child going to the local mom and pop convenience store and renting the VHS. I do have an ECW question, there was a story between Taz and Sabu where he kept challenging him to a fight. The instance I'm looking for is Taz calling out Sabu and the lights go out and then come back on to finally reveal Sabu. Was this a ppv or would I be able to find this on the Network? That was November To Remember 1996, which wasn't a PPV. And, as much as I didn't care for Sabu at the time, that was a great moment.

The wife and I are going with a "gimmick match's PPV debut" theme - first cage match, first I Quit match, etc. We were expecting 30 to 40 shows at most. Turns out there's 87. Personally, I blame Russo. (No seriously. I do.) Our list is below. Tell me if we're missing anything: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}WWE:
Wrestlemania II ("boxing" match) The Big Event (snake pit match) Survivor Series 87 (survivor series match) Royal Rumble 88 (royal rumble match) Royal Rumble 90 (submission match) Wrestlemania VII (blindfold match) Survivor Series 92 (casket match) Wrestlemania X (falls count anywhere; ladder match) In Your House 2 (Lumberjack match) In Your House 5 (hog pen match) In Your House 8 (strap match) Summerslam 96 (Boiler room brawl) In Your House 11 (buried alive match) In Your House 12 (last man standing) In Your House 15 (gauntlet match) Badd Blood: In Your House (flag match; hell in a cell) No Way Out of Texas (war of attrition match) Wrestlemania 14 (dumpster match) Unforgiven: In Your House (inferno match) Fully Loaded: In Your House (dungeon match) Summerslam 98 (lion's den match) St. valentine's Day Massacre (hardcore match) Wrestlemania XV (brawl for all) Fully Loaded 99 (iron circle match) Summerslam 99 (kiss my ass match) Unforgiven 99 (kennel from hell; six-pack challenge) No Mercy 99 (good housekeeping match) Armageddon 99 (tag team battle royal) Royal Rumble 2000 (elimination table match) King of the Ring 2000 (handicap table dumpster match) Summerslam 2000 (TLC) Armageddon 2000 (Six-man hell in a cell) Backlash 2001 (Duchess of Queensbury rules match) Judgement Day 2001 (tag team turmoil) Invasion (bra and panties match) Survivor Series 2002 (elimination chamber) Vengeance 2003 (APA invitational bar room brawl) Taboo Tuesday 2004 (taboo tuesday) No Way Out 2005 (barbed wire steel cage) Wrestlemania 21 (money in the bank; sumo match) No Way Out 2006 (nine-way cruiserweight match) Great American Bash 2006 (Punjabi prison match) Unforgiven 2006 (TLC singles match) December to Dismember (extreme hell in a cell) Unforgiven 2008 (scramble match) TLC 2009 (chairs match) Summerslam 2013 (ring of fire match)
NWA/WCW:
Starrcade 83 (title vs. Mask; dog collar match; steel cage match) Starrcade 84 (tuxedo street fight match) Starrcade 85 (Texas bullrope match; I quit match; Mexican death match; arm wrestling) Starrcade 86 (strap match; first blood match; no DQ match; scaffold match) Bunkhouse Stampede (steel cage bunkhouse stampede match) Great American Bash 88 (tower of doom match) Great American Bash 89 (two-ring battle royal; Texas tornado match; WarGames) Halloween Havoc 89 (thunderdome match) Superbrawl 91 (taped fist match; stretcher match; Teddy Long in a cage match) Halloween Havoc 91 (chamber of horrors match) Starrcade 91 (battlebowl) Beach Blast 92 (iron man match) Halloween Havoc 92 (coal miner's glove match) Halloween Havoc 93 (Texas Death match) Superbrawl IV (Thundercage match) Spring Stampede 94 (bunkhouse match) Fall Brawl 94 (triangle elimination match) Uncensored 95 (king of the road match; martial arts match; boxer vs. Wrestler match) Slamboree 95 (lights out match) Halloween Havoc 95 (sumo monster truck match) World War 3 95 (world war 3 match) Uncensored 96 (doomsday cage match) Starrcade 97 (Raven's rules match) Fall Brawl 98 (three-team wargames) Souled Out 99 (ladder stungun match) Uncensored 99 (first blood barbed wire steel cage match) Starrcade 99 (Russo pole match; powerbomb match) Souled Out 2000 (catch wrestling match) Uncensored 2000 (apple pie strap match) Slamboree 2000 (ready to rumble cage match) Great American Bash 2000 (asylum match) Bash at the Beach 2000 (graveyard match) New Blood Rising (Canadian rules match) Starrcade 2000 (ambulance match) Sin (penalty box match)
ECW:
November to Remember 1997 (tables and ladder match) Living Dangerously 98 (Singapore cane match) Guilty as Charged 99 (stairway to hell ladder match) November to Remember 2000 (flaming tables match) Guilty as Charged 2001 (TLC and canes match) The only one we watched thus far is Starrcade 83. Highly recommended, provided you start with Charlie Brown vs. The Great Kabuki. Everything before that simply doesn't hold up.
