Wanna get ready for WrestleMania? Remind yourself of how well Lesnar and Taker work against each other by taking a look at No Mercy 2002, in Lesnar's only Hell in a Cell match. It's outright vicious, with Lesnar and Taker beating the shit out of each other for about twenty-five minutes. There's a lot of blood though, even Paul Heyman gets cut open.
The rest of the card's pretty decent too, with a great tag match featuring four of the Smackdown Six, and if you've got morbid curiosity, it also features the payoff of the Katie Vick angle, as well as the end of the Intercontinental Title. For a few months.

I've decided I am going to try and watch all the PPVs in chronological order however I am having difficulties finding a complete list that has them in order. I can find WWE lists, And I can find WCW lists but the WCW lists don't included the NWA era stuff. Anyone know of a good list anywhere?

I just saw the first World War III match and would suggest avoid it. I will never see a more confusing mess of a match. LOL, I watched it too the other day for first time in a few years, and it's a pretty big mess. The 1996 match was a mess too, but it had a great ending at least. I'm going to re-watch the 1997 & 1998 matches tonight since I haven't seen those either in quite awhile.

What show was it where Eric Angle pulled the switcheroo against Taker(I think)? Haven't seen that match in a while.

SuperBrawl 2, my goodness this show is loaded, save for Taylor-Bagwell and the scrub like tag match only fun because Vinnie Vegas is in it.

Dick Murdoch's one man show vs. Afa on the MSG Oct 84 show is crazy good.
Johnny Valiant has a so bad it's good promo on the same show.

First title change I remember seeing was Windham & Rotundo beating Murdoch & Adonis for the tag belts at a house show. Back when they'd have a floor camera at house shows so fans can see what they miss when they don't go to one; they showed highlights on Superstars. They should go back to doing that. Don't even have to do the titles switching hands; just show a couple of highlights. I'm sure it could only boost live event business.

I can't believe I'm watching The Wrestling Classic, which was WWF's second PPV. It included a 16 man tournament and the main event was Hogan Vs Piper. I know the commentary on this one word for word. When I got a tape in 86, I probably watch it at least a 1000 times. It truly is a classic.

I recommend everyone watch the UK version of No Mercy from 1999. It will make you appreciate every other wrestling show you watch for the rest of your life. As bad as things may get, at least you will never have to watch Gillberg and Tiger Ali Singh have the worst 1 minute match I've ever seen in my life. Also, Mideon vs Kane and Nicole Bass vs Tori. What a load of shit. Of the first 6 matches, I went -*, *1/2, 1/2*, 1/4*, DUD and **. Atrocious show.

In Your House: Buried Alive has some great wrestling and a really pissed off Jim Ross. His mic doesn't work for most the show and it sounds like he was going to deck Mcmahon on live tv.

I should have given this thread a look earlier when I was trying to find something to watch. Instead, since the 360 can only play WWE shows (and the early Great American Bash ones), I asked a friend to choose a month and a year. I got stuck with King of the Ring 1999.

To be fair, you should have known better when he said 1999. That's like playing Wheel of Fortune, but with all the spaces on the wheel being bankrupt.

Yeah, pretty much as soon as I saw 1999 I got filled with dread. Being stuck watching the awful Rock / Taker match again just makes it better. And why the hell did Road Dogg / Chyna run three times as long as most of the rest of the card?
