Thanks for the information. Seems like a weird thing to edit out. I've been rewatching all of SmackDown 2002 with ppv's and so far I believe all the WWF New York segments have been left in. Including my personal favorite from No Way Out 2002 where Mr. Perfect is at WWF New York wearing a leather jacket with no shirt underneath and says "everything is terrible here, even the rats!" 🤣 Oh god, the drunk Mr. Perfect segment! I echo your love for it, for all the wrong reasons. Then there's That Jerry Lynn Segment. The Perfect segment deserves to live in YouTube / Instagram infamy. Idk how it hasn't. Haven't seen the Lynn one yet. What show was that on?

Sounds like Undertaker's dead man walking theme has been dubbed in during Judgment Day 2002. But every episode of SmackDown leading up to Judgment Day his Rollin theme had been left intact.

If it's the DVD cut of the show...yes and no. Yes, the theme used there was dubbed, but it wasn't to remove Rollin'. On the live PPV, they used a very early instrumental version of what would eventually become You're Gonna Pay. It was very barebones and generic, so the next night on Raw, they added some more guitar and tweaked it a bit. It's that slightly revamped version that replaced the original on the JD2002 DVD.

I didn't notice during his entrance but as he's leaving and they play the theme again I noticed there were no lyrics to the song.

Just watched Clash of Champions 6. I'm sure it's probably covered somewhere in the previous 80 Pages here, but they edited 5 matches off the network version. When the show starts they said they have 10 matches. What actually aired on TV that night and what didn't make it to the network? They showed a couple of them on that week's WCW Saturday Night episode, right?

The Network version is missing 3 matches (Dick Murdoch vs. Bob Orton, Road Warriors vs. Varsity Club, Ranger Ross vs. Iron Sheik).

I'm pretty sure this is that same version right? The COD version was missing the same 3 matches, but it was also shown as two separate videos. After JYD/Reed, the first video ended, and you had to go back the COD menu and start the second video, which was comprised of the final two matches. What's weird is that the Network version has the bumper after JYD/Reed saying Murdoch/Orton is up next. Surely, that would have been edited out if the missing matches were removed on purpose.

I remember it being broken up into two parts. I never understood why COD did that with certain shows. On the network version of Clash 6 they show a photo of the Murdoch vs. Orton match during the credits.

SNME 3, they don't dub over JYD's entrance long enough so when JYD is in the ring, Another One Bites The Dust is clearly played unedited for a few seconds.

Jan. 31, 1993 Superstars: A video feature on ICOPRO is missing right after High Energy's match, probably because it included footage not owned by WWE of various sports. A Headlock on Hunger plug is missing after Bob Backlund's match (HOH plugs are intact in some episodes). Feb. 13, 1993 Superstars: www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRi2AFZzlwAMr. Perfect football vignette where he catches his own pass is missing. I'm guessing it's because of the music that played for most of it. A Headlock on Hunger plug is missing right after Crush's match. Feb. 27, 1993 Superstars: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DZSL-ThllQMr. Perfect basketball vignette is missing, likely due to the music ("Sweet Georgia Brown"). Mar. 13, 1993 Superstars: www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-W9JG8-dW8Mr. Perfect hockey vignette is missing right before Lex Luger's match. It's not clear why as the only music played during it was Perfect's entrance theme.

The Jul. 22, 1997 ECW Hardcore TV episode has a couple of strange edits.
- On the original broadcast, Big Dick Dudley was shown chokeslamming one of The Gangstas right before the show's opening theme. On the Network version, they cut to the opening before he does it. It also seems like they took Joey Styles's commentary lines that were said when BDD was getting into the ring and moved them back a few seconds to make sure they weren't cut off in mid-sentence by the sudden, earlier cut to the opening.
- 10 seconds or so of Rick Rude's introduction by Styles is cut out, including the part where Styles says his name. I'm guessing WWE thought the dubbed in music was making it too hard to hear Styles, so they just skipped ahead.

They did a good job with that as you can barely tell it was added later. I noticed that on the Network, Big Show and Ric Flair have their entrances shown unedited. On the DVD, Big Show came out to the WWE version of the NWO theme that was on the most recent "Uncaged" album. Flair had his music dubbed on the DVD with a re-done version of his 1991-93 theme.

On the original broadcast of the July 17, 1989 Prime Time Wrestling, Penny, the daughter in the comedy team that are guests on The Bobby Heenan Show, sings some of the lyrics to "Like A Virgin" at the end of the program right before Heenan whistles and says, "That's it. It's time to go." That has been edited out on the Network.

ECW Hardcore TV; Jan. 17, 1998: After Al Snow wins his match, the show cuts to the intro video before Snow prompts the fans to throw their Styrofoam heads into the ring. I'm guessing it's because the dubbed music would completely mute Snow on the microphone.

The Sept. 1, 2008 Raw was taped on Aug. 31, and the botches at the end of this six-women tag match were removed. You can see a jump cut at the 8:04 mark. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IE7XMZ3MKwIOn the Network version, though, the jump cut doesn't happen, and what was cut out in 2008 is shown unedited.

On ECW's WrestlePalooza 1998 and Guilty As Charged 1999, video packages that were originally narrated by Paul Heyman are instead narrated by Joey Styles. In the Taz/Douglas video on GAC, they actually only change the beginning because Styles is heard at first, then Heyman's original voiceover is played at the end. This is apparently related to the original music being changed.
