So the move to Peacock, means perhaps these edits are a thing of the past. If you're referring to the DDP theme, the documentary it was featured in was uploaded last year.

Really weird edit on the January 7th, 2002 RAW with Triple H’s MSG return. One of my favourite Kurt Angle moments when he’s talking to Christian and says something like “Triple H tore his quad? So what, I tore my quad this morning, I’m here, I’m jumping around!” Well that line is completely removed. The promo abruptly ends after Christian says Triple H ‘was probably at home spinning U2 records or something,” which is strange that they left that in considering the Beautiful Day promo is nowhere to be seen on the Network either.

I think one of them said or sang some lines from "Beautiful Day" towards the end of the segment. He basically said "It's a Beautiful Day" in whiny childish voice. which is so lame to cut out. reminds me of when Renee Young on the a ppv post show, said "All Night Long" in singing way and that got cut. yet Rich Swann once said those 3 words in a sitdown profile piece for the CWC in a concise way.

Shane Douglas vs. Al Snow at ECW WrestlePalooza 1998 is missing about 2 minutes of footage. There is an obvious jump cut the second time they're fighting outside the ring. The version of the match on ECW Unreleased Vol. 2 from WWE Home Video seems to be complete.

Made an account just for this thread.
Vengeance 2003 and 2005 have their themes dubbed over
Muhammad Hassan’s promo responding to the news article about him being a “terrorist” on a July 2005 SD! has been edited off
The “Holy Shit!” chants and Eddie cursing have been muted during his match with Rey Mysterio at Summerslam 2005
There’s a jump cut during Edge’s entrance at Judgment Day 2008 due to a pyro botch
“Famous” by Puddle of Mudd has been dubbed over on One Night Stand ‘07

It was instead shown on WWE.com.

I am currently confused whether to post here or in the Peacock thread but since this was an edit that was already on there in the pre-Peacock days, I figured it better to post it here.
The reason the March 22nd, 1993 edition of Monday Night RAW is only a short 36 minutes long is due to them cutting out a lengthy feature (about 12 minutes long) of Vince McMahon at the Michael Landon Foundation Awards where he received an award for something.

King of the Ring 1995 is missing the video package for Jerry Lawler vs. Bret Hart. I think it's because it was set to the "SummerSlam Jam" music from the 1993 WrestleMania album, which WWE was editing from shows during the early days of WWE Network. There is a Coliseum Video exclusive pre-match interview with Bret, and the video aired right before it.

The Mar. 19, 1994 Superstars episode is missing part of Sy Sperling's WrestleMania promo because it had footage not owned by WWE (clip of a Hair Club for Men ad). It's also missing Little Richard's promo, as I believe he sang during it.

On the live broadcast of WrestleMania 21, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler spoke on camera for a few minutes after the Batista/HHH video package because Motorhead wasn't ready to start playing. On WWE Home Video and WWE Network, that's been removed, and the show goes straight from the video to Motorhead.

Dude, I get the gimmick and I don't like the historical edit method either (especially since I'm not a Peacock user, I'm a Network user) but let's not trivialise the reasons for them. Racial sensitivity and understanding is more important than being able to watch old wrestlers blacking up.

Racial sensitivity and understanding is more important than being able to watch old wrestlers blacking up. Oh I get it. But I am also OCD about old wrestling being as close to the original broadcast as possible, warts and all. And I'm smart enough to know what doesn't hold up now. And I still say worrying about a TV show or one segment or so is less important than what corporations and such could be doing out there for people.
