Dude, I get the gimmick and I don't like the historical edit method either (especially since I'm not a Peacock user, I'm a Network user) but let's not trivialise the reasons for them. Racial sensitivity and understanding is more important than being able to watch old wrestlers blacking up. I mean, I get it but any sane person would see stuff wrestling did is pretty messed up and insensitive. Im against removing them, but Im not gonna cry about it either. Considering the a lot of folks crying about it are the same people that would be offended by my relationship (inter-racial) then I hope Peacock keeps cutting away

If anything, like I said, I am OCD about things I remember being as close to what I remember seeing as possible. I have the same kind of umbrage when they change music and the like.

My issues with the editing are this:
There are already examples of things slipping through and going up unedited even though the exact same thing was cut from a different show before that show was allowed to go up on Peacock. If you're going to be sloppy about it, why bother?
Also, they seem to have absolutely no problem with showing offensive things. Certain words and blackface are not the only offensive things on these shows. They're just the only offensive things being removed. So, again, why bother cutting anything if you're going to leave in, for example, the comments Rick Martel and Bobby Heenan would make about Tatanka or Tito Santana?

Oh yeah Im not lumping you in there. I have issues with how Peacock isn't consistent censoring things but the folks who are mad about not seeing blackface and stuff puts a massive smile on my face.

The Feb. 19, 1994 Superstars episode is missing a segment with Little Richard right before the Blayze/Morgan match, plus a segment with Bucky and Vinny (hosts of a program on Showtime that were scheduled for WrestleMania 10 but didn't appear) during the WrestleMania Report.

So then RELEASE IT ALL AND JUST PUT A DISCLAIMER BEFORE THINGS THAT DON'T AGE WELL OR ARE INSENSITIVE AND ETC!! Less trouble all around.

Yea I don't get why Peacock just doesn't go the disclaimer route.

On ECW November to Remember 2000, there are new lines of commentary from Joey Styles, recorded by WWE, whenever dubbed music is playing.
It is very noticeable during Kid Kash's entrance for the second match of the show. Cyrus calls the whole first match by himself and is not actually joined by Styles until Kash vs. CW Anderson has already started, yet you hear Styles while Kash's music is playing.

Probably already listed but a good amount of VHS ripped footage used for the Oct 9 1993 episode of WCW Saturday Night, with the Most Complete Form Possible message.
Makes me feel like it's 2007 and I'm watching Stinger1981's dailymotion channel again

For the first 40 minutes or so, the show is normal, then from Bobby Eaton's squash match to the end, it's a low quality, VHS-sourced copy. I'm pretty sure it's the same one that's on YouTube.

On the episode I mentioned, Matt Hardy is one of the guys on the Amateur Challenge

Is Elix Skipper's "Party Up" knockoff ("This is my house") still retained? I know that a LOT of the knockoff themes (DDP, Raven, Jarrett, Dustin's first) have been redubbed.

Old Network stuff because I'm in the UK:
OK, so a bizzare one, but I'm on the May 31 1999 Raw (The one between the Owen tribute and the Higher Power reveal), and Beaver Cleavage seems to get the same treatment as Benoit on the Network, of "A superstar is worried about his match" and "Christian competes in a Singles match".
Like, I know it was a shit gimmick, but come on...

And for the record, who else is Benoited in the descriptions? I think Rockin' Rebel in ECW (another murder case, IIRC). Or Beaver = incest = not wanted by Peacock? Wait...here's a left field explanation. Peacock = NBCUniversal = has the rights to...Leave it to Beaver. Perhaps they don't want WWE advertising a parody of the show? And now I want to know if his LITB theme soundalike is intact.

May have something to do with his name, which doesnt bode well for Big Dick Dudley or Balls Mahoney.

They will be using "B. Mahoney" and "Dick Dudley" in his honor. But seriously, have listings with those guys get edited too?
