On the Feb. 14, 1981 episode of WWE Championship Wrestling, the segment with Hulk Hogan and Tony Atlas has been edited to remove some of Hogan's racially charged insults towards Atlas. The link below is the full segment with the edited part going from about 2:38 to 3:13. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqVHcQANNdEYet, as I'm reminded by this week's Art is War, the whole Hart Foundation (or was it DX?) trash the Nation's locker room angle was kept apparently. In 2021, they edited the Oct. 20, 1997 and Oct. 27, 1997 Raw episodes to remove the footage of Michael Cole showing the Nation's vandalized locker room. However, the segments out in the arena about it are still shown, including DX accusing Bret Hart of being a KKK member.

On the Jul. 14, 2023 edition of Smackdown, Rhea Ripley's Titantron graphics appeared on screen at the beginning of Bianca Belair's entrance for the main event. There's no trace of that mistake on the WWE Network version of the show.

On the Nov. 23, 1985 episode of World Championship Wrestling, the show intro with Tony Schiavone and David Crockett ends abruptly and goes to the first match. That's because on the original airing, they brought out Superstar Billy Graham for an interview while "Bad to the Bone" played until Graham was about halfway done with his promo. They apparently couldn't replace the song without drowning out the promo, so they cut it altogether.

Not really an edit, but I noticed something about the Sabu vs. Cactus Jack match from ECW Hostile City Showdown 1994.
On WWE Network, plus on any DVD release of the match by WWE, there is a part towards the finish where "Play" and a timer briefly appear on screen because WWE's copy is from a VHS transfer. Also, on the 2001 "Best of Cactus Jack in ECW" release from Pioneer Entertainment, there is a quick zoom in during that part of the match to avoid showing it.
However, what's strange is my DVD-R copy of the show I bought from Highspots, which they got from a licensing deal with RF Video, doesn't have this. It's also much better quality than the copy WWE used.

Drew McIntyre and Tyson Fury singing "American Pie" at the end of Clash at the Castle 2022 has recently been removed. They likely noticed it was there when they were preparing the new app/website.

Watching Unforgiven 98. Can someone please let me know what was edited out between the first and second segment? There is something very clearly cut out after the Farooq, Blackman and Shamrock post match interview and Austin coming out for the second segment.
A second edit following the announcement of the attendance record and the following match.
Wow this thing is heavily edited. Another edit following the Midnight vs R&R match and the Luna backstage interview.
Another edit following the Luna Sable match and Vince coming out.
Another edit after the LOD match.

The 1998 VHS release had those same edits. The first one right before the Austin segment was likely a WWF Superstar Line plug. Those would usually air after the first match on a PPV. Also, a plug for the next PPV (Over the Edge) would have been cut, too.

Cena's ''whole fudging thing'' line & the subsequent exchange has been edited out of the Network version of the June 25 2012 RAW. Most likely because Cena ends up burying the product by saying most of the WWE's viewers are 9 years old. youtu.be/gG9FdvW0Fhs?t=410

Watching the January 4th 1988 episode of Primetime Wrestling. Duggan vs Sika. Duggan calls Sika a "son of a bitch" and it is beeped out. Kind of surprising given some of the other language that they've chosen to leave in on far more popular shows on the Network/Peacock.

Kind of surprising given some of the other language that they've chosen to leave in on far more popular shows on the Network/Peacock. It is likely that was done for WWE Classics On Demand, and they forgot to remove it for the Network. When the Network first launched in 2014, the ECW PPVs had tons of censored profanity, then they went back and fixed them.

The November 12th 1987 episode of Prime Time Wrestling has the Slick, Jive Soul Bro video. I know it's a fairly well-known edit, but the beginning of the video is removed. For those that don't know, at the beginning Slick is in a chicken restaurant eating "YARD BIRD MAAAANNNN"!

I don't know if it was ever shown on Prime Time, Superstars, etc. AFAIK, it was made exclusively for the Coliseum Video tape they released for "Piledriver" album.

I know on the WWE 24/7 service they showed the video with an introduction from Miz. Miz references that the intro was removed, complete with Miz impersonating the now infamous line. I still have that recorded on a DVD-R somewhere in my collection. I don't know if it was ever put on YouTube.

On the October 9th 1993 episode of Saturday Night there's an audio issue during the Bobby Eaton squash match. And as soon as the match ends Bobby goes to say something into the camera and it immediately cuts to the next match. No replay or anything. It's a very noticeable cut. Anybody know what was cut there?

Anybody know what was cut there? The first half of that episode is from WCW's high quality, master tape of the show while the second half, which includes the Eaton match, is from a fan's VHS copy that was likely ripped from YouTube. Either the cut was there when WWE got that copy or they edited it because Eaton's music started to play and replacing the music would make whatever he said inaudible.

At the beginning of the episode there is one of those bumpers (not sure what to call them) saying the episode is presented in the best quality possible. The first half looks normal, but about halfway through the episode the audio and video quality takes a noticeable dive. It looks and sounds like VHS quality.

I remember their short lived team earlier that year.
